He should have died a long time ago.

JIETOU's words shocked me. I looked up and down at Xie Yilin, who appeared to be innocent and harmless. I almost didn't recognize her. Was she really so cruel? And was it true that she had a mental illness? What was the reason for her senseless act of injuring someone on the street? I couldn't understand what she meant.

Helplessly, I could only look at Xie Yilin and ask: "Um, cough cough, Miss Xie, what exactly is going on here? Why did you use such heavy-handed tactics against someone for no apparent reason? Do you know what you're doing?"

"Of course I know what I'm doing," Xie Yilin sneered and confidently said: "That bastard should have died long ago!"

Seeing Xie Yilin's expression, I felt there must be a story behind this. Unable to resist my curiosity any longer, I asked her: "What happened exactly? Can you tell us in detail?"

"Hurry up or we won't have a chance," JIETOU interrupted us and stood up saying: "Those people will catch up with us soon."

"But didn't that person faint?" I asked doubtfully. "Why are they still chasing after you guys now? Is it the police coming because someone reported it?"

"If it were just the police then things would be easy," JIETOU sneered again: "The guy she hit wasn't simple; he seemed like the boss around here. He was just knocked out but more than ten thugs surrounded us to fight back afterwards. At first we could hold our own but as their numbers grew to about two hundred people surrounding us from all sides made things difficult for me since hurting others isn't something that comes easily to me . So in the end we had no choice but to take detours while running away together with her (Xie Yilin). But even running away isn't safe. This is their territory and those people will definitely come looking for us soon."

"Is this really happening?" Hearing JIETOU's words, I couldn't help but look at Xie Yilin and imagine the scene of her being humiliated by the local gang boss. Perhaps that was why she hated him so much.

As expected, when Xie Yilin heard this, she became indignant: "Yes! That bastard is indeed a black-market kingpin who deserves to die. He has committed heinous crimes long ago. In the past, I didn't dare to do anything against him because he had many followers and great power. But now I'm not afraid of him anymore since today we bumped into each other; it's his bad luck!"

"Why aren't you afraid of him now?" I asked curiously: "What grudge do you have with him? Did he bully you before?"

"I'm not afraid of him now because I have all of you," Xie Yilin looked at me and JIETOU with pride in her eyes as she said: "Don't forget that!

Upon hearing this, I felt a bit depressed and couldn't help but say to her, "You've caused a big problem. Haven't you heard the saying that 'a strong dragon cannot suppress a local snake'? Even if JIETOU and I are powerful, we're still outsiders. How could we possibly fight against the locals? You really dug our own grave this time."

"I don't care about that. Anyway, you guys have to help me settle this matter," Xie Yilin said firmly.

"JIETOU, what do you think we should do?" I turned my head towards JIETOU.

"I think it's better for us to find a place to hide first. It's too obvious standing here," JIETOU frowned.

"Let's go inside the hospital and hide in Yang Chunwen's ward. That's the safest place. I guarantee those people won't dare to break in." After finishing my sentence, I led them into the hospital.

After a while, we sat down in the reception room outside Yang Chunwen's ward.

Zhang Xin brought towels for JIETOU and Xie Yilin who went to wash up briefly in the bathroom.

"So tell us what happened," after they returned and sat down again, I asked Xie Yilin with a frown on my face.

"That person is called Li Jianyang," Xie Yilin looked at me and said: "He is one of the heads of **** around here."

"And then?" I asked.

"He specializes in doing some illegal business, among which his biggest industry is prostitution dens," Xie Yilin said indignantly: "When I was studying there were several female classmates who were forced into prostitution by him."

Upon hearing this part of her story, I roughly understood why she hated that person so much.

However, what she said next made both JIETOU and me feel uneasy.

"Do you know what the most despicable thing that bastard does?" Xie Yilin looked at us and asked.

"Well, forcing women into prostitution is already despicable enough. Is there anything worse than that?" I asked in confusion.

"Of course there is," Xie Yilin looked at us and then said somewhat arrogantly: "You two are good kids, not to mention young, but the key point is that you have a kind nature and haven't experienced much of the world yet. You don't even know how dirty and dark this world can be. Do you know how those bastards humiliate and torture women in those bathhouses, brothels, and entertainment clubs they run?

It's simple. They have specialized pimps whose daily task is to scout for girls with distinctive looks but dressed poorly at the school gate. Once they find someone suitable, they will invite you to dinner, talk to you and promise you how much money they can give you if you engage in sexual services. At first, they only say that it's just accompanying guests to drink, sing and play cards occasionally giving massages to clients. But once you actually go there, everything is out of your control. Once a person takes the first step, it becomes difficult to turn back. In the end, they will force you into prostitution and before taking on clients there is also a trial period which is the most disgusting part!" Sheryl said angrily.

"Trial period? What does that mean?" Jietou and I asked curiously.

"It means trying out your skills in pleasing men in bed; simply put - deflowering," Sheryl clenched her fists as she spoke: "That bastard is the leader who personally conducts these trials every time. Over the years countless women have been ruined by him including some of my female classmates whom I heard about from a sister who dropped out of school because of this situation. You tell me what should be done with such people? To be honest I haven't killed him yet which has already been too kind."

"He deserves death!" After listening carefully I couldn't help but frown tightly clenching my iron fist.

Jietou stood up directly after hearing this: "Murder," he said calmly.

Upon hearing his words, I sighed helplessly then got up saying: "I'll go with you."

"Good." Jietou nodded but added: "I hope you're not going to stop me."

"Don't worry," I laughed and said: "This world has already gone bad so instead of letting it continue down that path let's kill it off!"

"You guys, are you really going to kill someone?" Now it was Sheryl's turn to be nervous. She obviously didn't expect us to actually go and kill someone.

"Don't worry, aren't you very confident in us two? Today we'll let you have confidence in us!" I finished speaking then patted Jietou's shoulder saying: "Let's go.
