The next night came and I was still hiding away in the alley. Political tensions had been stirring and they'd also attributed the bathouse murder to me despite not having any solid evidence. Adae eventually came again to brief me on the search. Adae so far had not seen the disciple anywhere. "Now anyways, I've wanted to ask for a while, how was your life before I found you?" She asked.
"It's really long, and a bit shit" I responded. I'd been avoiding this discussion despite knowing it would come eventually.
"I need to know it to document your story" She said, speaking similarly to an interrogator.
"Then I'll tell you, it starts at my birth obviously, I was born in a upper-class area in Hauri in the fifth month of 235 to two loving parents and had a sibling" I said
"What city in specific?"
"Livic, now anyways, I lived out the first 3 years of my life just as any other child of my class would've, I was spoilt rotten with the pleasures of this world but however when I was about 5 and 2 months, the civil war started which you've probably heard of. Our house was burnt to Ash and my parents were beheaded and my elder sibling was put into slavery and so I was left alone to fend for myself". I paused for a bit waiting for Adae to finish writing it down before resuming, "And so, after about 4 to 5 months I was taken into a group of bandits, they made me do all sorts of jobs for them, from simple stealing to kidnappings but then after the war died down the government cracked down on all of the new groups and slowly they were all captured". I paused to remember what happened next before saying, "And so I was thrown out into the world alone again however this time I had some combat and survival skills which helped me to adapt to my habitat but my habitat was getting darker day by day. At 14 I was thrown into jail since I had a bounty on my head however people under 16 weren't to be executed so I was instead beaten for a month and fed very little and then yet again I was thrown out. I lived like that for years and this led me to think that the world was only fear and hunger. Then a few days after my 17th birthday I was arrested again but as I was in the carriage, I saw a beautiful sunset and many birds flying over the horizon. It was the first time I'd been out of the city and the first time I'd seen any beauty since my childhood. Then the carriage crashed and so I ran off after the birds. Later when I was 20 after living out in the woods for 3 years I returned the city to join the army. I'd figured that I might as well give my life for something instead of dying alone in the woods and that was when I reawakened an emotion from my childhood yet again, I felt a rush every time I killed someone but overtime it became a bit more boring and when I was about 22 that's when I met you".
