The Army Merger

Following my fiery kick that broke one of the demon's horns, the monster waved his arm and slapped me mid-air to the side.

Thankfully, I was able to block it with my forearm and landed safely with my feet against the wall, using it to push myself back at him with my dagger in hand.

The demon chuckled the first time I hurt him because he thought he would get to fight a powerful opponent, but that wasn't the reality of his situation.

My plan was to kill the demon as fast as possible and free the beastkin, who were our real priority for going to the factory in the first place.

As I came close to him again with my dagger raised, he coated his arm with demonic energy and blocked my strike, which surprised me since my blade was made of mithril, which should have ignored any magic that made contact with it.
