A Teacher’s Reputation (Part 1)

During my first class, I decided to go back to the basics of magic since I knew that people didn't have the best methods for casting it.

After I passed attendance, I realized that the girl with blue hair who asked me my name was called "Keiko," whom I had heard about from Melina one time in one of her voice messages while I was in Kalusia.

"Keiko, come to the front," I asked the girl, who shyly walked towards me.

I placed a piece of paper on a small column and dragged my desk to the back to give her more room, asking her to cast a spell that could move the piece.

"Wind, come to me and blow away…" she muttered, generating a decent gust of wind from her hand that made the piece of paper easily fly away.

"Not bad," I praised the girl.

Her incantation wasn't extremely long, which was more desirable than those very long prayers. Nonetheless, it was still too slow compared to casting without speaking.
