Chapter two

ROAD TO INDULGENCE

The current Minister of Revenue, a slender middle-aged man hailing from the wealthy Kinju Clan they had provided financial support to the royal palace during difficult times, stood and spoke. Yuma Nzaki pleaded before the court with irrefutable evidence that her highness had furnished provisions and swords to ruffians who massacred innocent women and children. "Your Honor,"he implored, "I beg for justice to be served as a means of soothing our people's spirits."

Rumors suggest that only those born into the Warrior clan could rival the position held by Kinju household in the capital. In recent years, peace has prevailed allowing for military reorganization and growth while simultaneously increasing their influence at court

Her highness who was currently on trial, addressed the court saying "Your honor, if I may be heard. I did not engage anyone to cause harm to another person. It appears that there are several individuals who hold animosity towards me and have been conspiring against me. My only mistake is that I failed to recognize their plotting before it resulted in an unfortunate tragedy."

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the room became tense as the general's subordinates rose up and expressed their discontent. They strongly objected to the imprisonment of her Highness and vowed not to allow it. In response, one of them blew a whistle, and his surbodinates marched into the room with swords drawn, pointing them at their accusers.
