Death Was Calling

"No," replied Liu Wei as he stared at the older man in front of him. His grandfather looked completely different than the last time he saw him. Gone was the older man with the wrinkles and the hunched back. In his place was a man that looked like he was in his mid-40s.

Liu Wei and Liu Yu Zeng exchanged a look before turning their attention back to their grandfather. "We are here simply because we are on our way to City A and wanted to check in on you. Last we checked, you were still our grandfather," said Liu Yu Zeng as he leaned against a window, his arms crossed in front of him. He was too uncomfortable with the situation in front of him.

He watched as Wu Bai Hee reached over to pat their grandfather's leg. "Now, Liu Hao Yu," she said, practically purring, "You know that Liu Wei and Wang Chao are important. It is good that they are trying to mend the bridges that they burned before leaving the first time. We should welcome them."
