Assassination Task

In a dimly lit prison chamber, an elderly man was shackled to heavy chains that clanked with each of his movements. Despite his frail appearance, an aura of immense power emanated from him, casting an eerie presence in the confined space.

As the elderly man remained bound in his chains, a prison guard, clad in a uniform worn from years of duty, approached the cell. He was accompanied by a strikingly handsome man with an air of confidence that contrasted the grim surroundings.

In the grim prison chamber, the handsome man surveyed the elderly captive, his gaze taking in the heavy chains that bound him. With a subtle nod to the prison guard, who stepped back to give them some semblance of privacy, he began to speak.

"You must be wondering why someone like me would visit someone like you," the handsome man said, his voice velvety smooth yet laced with an undercurrent of danger. "You see, I have a proposition."

The elderly man looked up, his eyes piercing despite his frailty. "I've had many propositions over the years. What makes yours different?"

The handsome man smiled. "Life Elixir, and freedom. I can offer you ten years more to live and new identity. All you have to do is perform one small task for me."

"Intriguing," the elderly man mused, his chains rattling as he shifted. "And what credibility you have?"

"Is this enough?" The handsome took out a golden token, on the golden token there was round sun with mountain engraved.

The old man eyes flickered and he laughed, "Good, I believe you, what small task a great person like you have?"

"Kill a woman named Evenly," the handsome man said without a hint of emotion. He took back the golden token in his pocket.

"Why?" the elderly prisoner asked.

"That is none of your concern. You do this, and you're a free man. Refuse, and you'll rot here till the end of your days."

The elderly man seemed to ponder this and asked, "Killing is not a crime, but killing a big person is crime, so who is this woman that a great man like you want to kill?"

The handsome man's expression darkened, his eyes narrowing. "She's just a commoner living in the capital. Just kill her; you don't have to worry about anything. No one will care for her."

The elderly man stared into the eyes of the handsome stranger as if searching for the truth behind them. Then, with a resigned sigh, he nodded. "Very well. Arrange for my release, and your obstacle shall be removed."

The handsome man grinned.

"Excellent. You won't regret this."

"How about going on our own?" Alaric stretched his hands and smiled at Elmer.

"I don't think that's possible," Elmer chuckled and pointed in the left direction, "My master gave us quite a few problems."

Alaric's eyes slowly looked in the left direction, and he saw many monsters. These monsters had red skin, and flames were coming out from their backs and heads.

"You know," Alaric's lips curled up in a smile, his face showing an evil prince's grin, "Your master is really a great man, haha."

Alaric laughed and rushed towards the monsters while laughing, as a sea of monsters rushed towards him.

"It's 198 Flame Man Monsters; master, do you really have to make this test tough?" Elmer sighed but also smiled, excited about the fight. He looked around and saw that the whole place was just flat land. The land was blazing fire color, and the environment was as hot as hell.

Elmer saw Alaric punch one of the Flame Man Monsters; another Flame Man Monster punched Alaric, burning his clothes. Then he was surrounded by many Flame Man Monsters. In the midst of many Flame Man Monsters, Alaric laughed, and suddenly, an explosive amount of dark mana rushed out from him, turning all the Flame Man Monsters around him into Dark Flame Man Monsters that stopped breathing.

As he did that, another wave of Flame Man Monsters surrounded him.

"He is enjoying this," Elmer said. He looked at his sword, put his hand on its hilt, and saw Flame Man Monsters rushing towards him.

"Let me enjoy this as well," Elmer said as he took out his sword. All Flame Man Monsters in his ten-meter radius stopped, and then their heads and bodies separated.

A beautiful girl, in her teens wearing a white shirt and black pants, stood amidst blood, her once-white shirt stained in bloody scarlet color, the long flowing blue hair also tinged with redness.

Ava looked at tiny blue monsters in hundreds. Underneath her mask, her red lips curved, and her cold eyes locked onto these blue monsters. The saber in her hand was coated in blue mana, and a surge of water appeared around her, taking the shape of a sharp sword. The water sword and she rushed ahead.

On the other hand, near Ava, there was a little loli Eri with laughter like a silver bell, looking at hundreds of monsters who were fighting among themselves.
