"Wang Cheng, let go of her!"
A strange as well as familiar voice spoke.
The man who strangled me by the neck let go of me. I lay down in the rain breathing heavily. The man named Wang Cheng spat on the ground and said with disdain: "coward, you finally have the nerve to show up."
"Shut up, I was just calling my chick."
Unexpectedly, he had been calling someone.
I coughed a few times and finally came back to myself. Looking over, I saw Shi Cheng standing in the rain. He was still so recalcitrant and fearless, just like he had been when he had left Shi family.
I looked fixedly at him, and he looked at me as well. In his eyes, I saw a flash of guilt.
He apologized, which was rare. "I'm sorry, Shi Sheng, I didn't expect that this son of a bitch would come with this plot today. Sorry to have gotten you involved."
I shook my head to show that it didn’t matter.
