Xi Zhan took off his clothes to take a bath, and I lay on the bed watching him leaving.
A moment later, he came back to the bed in his robe and held my wrist to check the scar on it.
"Did it hurt this afternoon?" He asked.
I truthfully said: "Yes. I forgot the scar and hit the edge of the bed in the afternoon. It hurt so much at that time."
I would never hide my vulnerability from Xi Zhan.
I looked at him with innocence, and he suddenly scratched my nose with a smile, speaking tenderly: "Silly girl. Don’t be careless after getting injured."
Xi Zhan sat by the bed, and I lay my head on his thigh, asking: "Do you feel tired?"
He looked down and said: "No."
There was no any sadness in Xi Zhan's eyes. He was always like this. No matter what happened, he would always remain calm.
I grabbed his sleeve trying to comfort him, but didn't know what to say. So, I just got up and knelt on the bed, hugging him in my arms.
