I woke up thirsty at 1 o 'clock in the morning, and fortunately my assistant had been guarding me aside. I asked him for water, and he stood up to get a cup of warm water. I took a sip as he put the cup by my mouth, and then asked him: "how was the operation?"
My assistant replied gently: "it was a great success. The doctor said that there would be no big problem if you take pills on time and have regular health checks. Be sure not to ruin your health."
That there would not be big problems didn’t mean that I was completely cured.
But the temporary improvement of my health was already the best result.
I couldn’t be so greedy as to want to be completely cured.
Turning my head to look at the night scenery outside, I told my assistant: "you can go for a rest."
He thought for a moment and said hesitantly: "boss, your biological mother wants to see you."
Sure, she would definitely know about my arrival in France.
But what difference would it make even if she wanted to see me?!
