NewFound Power

After Zoe tells Ryder her story, Ryder experiences a PTSD attack and instinctively attacks Zoe, who tries to block his attack with her arms. Suddenly, blood comes out from her arms and cuts off Ryder's right arm. Zoe panics and tries to patch up Ryder's wound, but Ryder goes insane and his body turns red with a red aura coming out of his body.

Ryder slaps Zoe through the wall of the barn they were inside, but Zoe doesn't take much damage because she is a level 3 zombie. Ryder then picks up his arm and reattaches it back to its right place, and all the wounds on his body heal. Suddenly, Ryder gets covered with red lightning, and it acts like armor to protect his body. At the same time, Zoe's zombie instincts kick in, and she starts powering up without realizing it to fight Ryder.

Zoe's blood comes out of her body and starts covering her whole body, just like Ryder, she creates an armor to protect her body. They both create weapons using their powers respectively. Zoe creates blood claws on both her hands, and Ryder shapes his lightning to create gloves. They both clash with each other, and both fall unconscious.

When they wake up, they are back to normal, but both of them can't seem to replicate the power they displayed the day before. They are left wondering what happened and what their new powers mean for their survival in this new world
