Luna and Cleopatra are arguing while trying to understand the reason behind the possession, while Ryder and Zoe are inspecting the glowing petrified Lawrence. Vincent, their commander, gives Mary orders to bring Lawrence back no matter what the cost. Meanwhile, Lawrence's consciousness is in a huge colosseum while his body is petrified in the real world.
In the colosseum, Lawrence meets a giant man who has many tattoos on his body and is much stronger than him. The man introduces himself as Hercules, the hero of Greek mythology and son of Jupiter and the mortal Alcmena. Lawrence is amazed to meet Hercules, and after seeing his latent potential, Hercules offers to make him stronger. However, he adds a catch, that he can only use his powers to help others and not for selfish reasons. If Lawrence goes against the belief of the god whose power he borrows, he will be struck by heavens punishment and his soul will not reincarnate, rotting in hell forever.
Lawrence doesn't take long to accept Hercules' offer and agrees to undergo the trial to obtain Herculean strength and integrity. Hercules smiles, impressed by Lawrence's resolve and the spirit of a true hero in him, and asks him if he is ready for the trial
