Fires not all that I could see, there was large rocks tumbling around me after crashing through the atmosphere.

What's happening I don't understand, where was the warning? The news said nothing before, the sirens aren't even sounding, why?! What happened?

3 days before post apocalypse

"Nova, What are you do? Haha." Mercury's laughter made Nova smile shyly as she looked way and nodded in denial, as her face turned red. "Nova, come on, you can't deny the truth about what you know." Mercury pick her up setting her butt on the counter as if she was weightless, as he made nose to nose contact. Nova closed her eyes and made forehead contact as she took in the comforter of his masculine dominance over her. He somehow knew exactly what she needed and when, it was the first thing she fell in love with the day they met. "Come on, tell me what's on your mind today? Sign to me, Beautiful."Mercury rapped his arms around her pulling her against him. "What's going on?" Mercury whispered nudging her nose with his. Nova nodded in denial and pulled her head away with a sigh. Mercury opened his eye to meet hers. "Nova, I'll have to go to work soon and I won't be able to talk to you till tonight, please, let me know what I can help you with." Mercury's stare was unavoidable as if he could read through her head like a book. Mercury let out a sigh. "I'll be back tonight, don't work yourself to death, okey. I have everything under control and soon you won't have to worry about a thing." Mercury pecked Novas lips twice before planting them firmly on her lips, his tongue asking permission for entrance as she gave in immediately. The kiss grew more passionate as if to make a statement, ' your safe and I'm not letting you go that easily, your mine.' Nova let herself go for a moment while Mercury's hand lifted Novas leg and his other hand rapped around her back to cradle the back of her neck. His firm grip made her want more as she grew hungry for him. He slowly pulled away nudging her nose against his before continuing on to her jar and neck and slowly made his way down her arm to meet her wrist, Mercury pulled his lips from grooming her, he let their noses touch as he watched her still soaking up his touch. Nova felt as if she could still feel his lips on her body. Mercury and Nova were breathing unsteady. "I'll never get out of here if I'm touching you…it's such a bad habit to make and so hard to break."

Mercury husky voice showed through to her. Nova leaned in for another kiss but Mercury pulled away to Huber just inches away. Nova shot a glare up at him before turning away. "You have issues." She whispered. "Haha, she talks.." Mercury pulls her chin to meet his gaze. "If I never pulled away, you would never let me stop." Mercury smiled and kissed Novas forehead. "Will be back tonight." Mercury turned to leave but looked back at Nova as she was still sitting on the counter top watching him gather his briefcase and walk to the door. "Nova, remember as long as you have me you'll never be alone in this universe. I can promise you that. I can't opt out if I'm so tangled up with you…" Mercury leaned over and kissed her forehead. Nova rolled her eyes. "Why are you such an alien sometimes? I don't even know you some days. " Mercury smiled at her comment. "Well if I'm an alien, then your my deadly angel." Mercury smiled softly as he looked down and stroked her cheek. Nova smiled and looked back up to him. She wondered what he meant by that 'Deadly angel'.

2 hours before post apocalypse

"Nova. Angel everything is okey. Hey, I got you something." Mercury pulled out a bracelet an necklace with rings and ring. "I made these for you. I'd like to see you ware them. I don't want them taken off. Okey?" Mercury gave her a gentle assurance look. "I'll know the moment you need me and I'll come faster then you can think to call, Okey?" Nova looked at the necklace and bracelet. "Mercury, I can't…" Novas whispers were cut short by the electric going out plunging both of them into darkness. Nova quickly reached out for Mercury, as she suddenly felt his arms around her waist. "Seems like a power outage, but something's wrong." Mercury picked Nova into his arms. "We need to go outside." Mercury began to carry her into the living room and out the back door. "Nova. Hunny, I'm going to go get a flashlight and matches for the fire pit, I need you to stay here. " Mercury explained his intentions to her as he see her eyes slowly turning into worry and confusion. "Put the necklace and bracelet on for me, I'll be back i a moment. " Mercury left Nova on the back deck.

(Mercurys Point of view)

'I know she practically mute and scared of the dark but she will be okey for a moment.' Mercury thought to himself. Before finally getting to the emergency kit. "Aw got it." Mercury flicked on the flashlight and went back out to find Nova staring intently into the brush and woods. She seemed a bit terrified. "Nova." Mercury said softly to pull her from her tormenting thoughts. Novas head shot to him before her eyes scanned the tree line and focused back in on everything but him. Mercury walked over to her and slowly grabbed her hands. "It's just the wind, nothing bad. Nothing that needs to be dwelled on." Mercury assured her before looking at the set of jewelry he asked her to put on earlier. A bush rustled close by and Nova shot a stare toward it. "Wow, hey Nova. Baby, everything is okey it's just the wind. I've asked a friend to come pick us up. I have somewhere I need to go and I'm not gonna leave you behind, to scare yourself into a whole I have to dig you out of. " Mercury rapped his arm around Novas waist and the other hand pulled both her arms to rap around his neck before picking her up in his arms. "Nova, baby. Eyes on me not the darkness. Okey."
