The Terror in the Supermarket      

Kelly didn't comment further. She trusted Noah's knowledge of the mall, but there was a nagging doubt in her mind about their chances in this dangerous mission.

 

However, it was too late to back out now as she was already here. 

They cautiously made their way through the cramped, dimly lit ventilation shaft, depending entirely on occasional bursts of shop light filtering through the vents for their visibility.

 

The echoes of their hurried movements and whispers reverberated through the metal ducts, creating an eerie soundtrack to their background. 

 

They crawled on their hands and knees, occasionally peering through the grates to gauge their location.

 

Kelly was still not entirely convinced of their plan, and kept a close eye on their surroundings.
