Chapter 27: Intruder

I groaned, rolling on the sides of the bed, and stood up.

My body feels heavy. It feels like I just did construction work for an entire day.

Hah, did I overdo it with Aerith? No... in the first place, why is her libido and energy so bottomless. Are all elves like that?

I stumbled towards the bathroom, trying to shake off the grogginess from my body. I took a quick bath before heading towards the office.

As I entered the room, my eyes flickered to the two figures sitting across from each other. One was a girl with silver hair and long ears wearing a bodysuit. The other had long black hair that cascaded down to her hips, wearing a black crop top with a heart cutout and a miniskirt.

"Eura aside, Aerith, what are you both doing here?" I asked, still feeling a little dazed.

Aerith stood up and walked towards me with a seductive smile on her face. "Good morning, my master. I just couldn't resist seeing you first thing in the morning."

I raised an eyebrow at Aerith's boldness but couldn't deny that her presence was starting to affect me.

Eura chuckled, "Looks like you had a fun night yesterday, master,"

Looks like she's angry and jealous... but I can't back down on her punishment, or she might get used to breaking the rules.

I need her to get used to controlling her lust; otherwise, I'm gonna lose a helpful assistant.

I cleared my throat and straightened up, trying to regain my composure.

I cleared my throat, trying to compose myself. "Yes, well, that's none of your business, Eura. What brings you here, Aerith?"

Aerith pouted, "Oh, come on, master. Can't we just hang out with you for a bit? It's not like we have any pressing matters to attend to."

I hesitated for a moment before nodding my head. "Fine, but let's keep things professional. We have work to do."

Eura rolled her eyes, clearly not happy with the situation.

As we settled into my office, I couldn't help but notice how Eura kept looking at me with a mixture of anger and desire. I knew that I had to keep my distance, but it was proving to be a difficult task.

"Eura, was there a problem with the winter feeding program?" I asked, trying to steer the conversation toward business.

Eura let out a sigh, "Yes, there was. It almost resulted in a riot yesterday. There were a lot more people than we had expected, and the chef and servers couldn't keep up with the demand."

I rubbed my temples, "That's not good. We need to fix this before it gets out of hand."

Eura nodded, "I already did. I added more staff for now. It might cost us more, but it's better than having a riot."

I couldn't help but admire Eura's quick thinking and ability to handle difficult situations.

But I pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand. "Thank you for taking care of it, Eura. Is there anything else you need to report?"

"The amount of grain in the warehouse is enough to last this winter, but if we were to experience a long winter, we might need to consider acquiring more grain,"

I nodded, making a mental note to start looking into acquiring more grain. "Thank you for letting me know. And what about the livestock?"

"Livestock? I'm not sure I know what you're referring to, master," Eura replied, furrowing her brows in confusion.

"Do people in this land not keep domesticated animals for consumption?" I asked, surprised.

"No. We just hunt them in the wild when we need meat."

My surprise turned into curiosity. "That's interesting. I come from a land where raising livestock is a common practice. Perhaps I can introduce it here."

Eura's eyes widened in surprise. "That would be quite a change for our people. But if you think it would be beneficial, I trust your judgment, master."

"We could use their milk, eggs, fur, and eventually their meat when the time comes. It would provide a more stable source of food for our village," I explained.

Eura nodded thoughtfully. "I see. And how do you plan on acquiring these animals?"

"I can deal with that," Aerith cut in smoothly, a sly grin forming on her lips. "I have experience in hunting in the wild. I can bring live animals back to the village, and we can raise them from there."

"Excellent," I said, pleased with Aerith's initiative. "We will need to build proper housing for them and hire someone to look after them. It will be a lot of work, but it will pay off in the long run."

As we discussed further plans for introducing livestock to our village, I heard a commotion outside. The sound of hooves on the ground grew louder and louder until it was right outside our door. We all exchanged glances before I stood up and opened the door to the mansion.

Standing outside was a group of armored knights, their swords at the ready. I could see that they were not from our village, and their armor was different from what we had seen before. They were clearly not here for a social call.

"What do you want?" I demanded, holding my ground and trying to look as intimidating as possible.

The leader of the knights stepped forward, her armor clinking with every step. She had a cruel look in his eyes and a sneer on his lips. Despite being a woman, she was built like a brick house with broad shoulders and muscular arms.

"We are here on behalf of Baroness Altemari," she said, her voice dripping with malice. "She demands that you surrender the elves you stole from her trader."

"Stole? Are you fucking retarded? I paid that slave trader with 10,000 gold coins for those elves."

The knight leader laughed, her eyes scanning the mansion as if sizing it up for an attack. "Do you have a proof of purchase, boy? Or are you just making empty claims?"

...

I see.

So that's what this is.

They didn't come here because of the elves. They came here to take everything I had.

They just wanted a justification.

Since that is the case, there's no need to hold back.

I won't forgive them for trying to take what's mine.

...

I took the gun from my inventory and shot the knight leader in the head. Her body crumpled to the ground, blood pooling around her like a crimson halo.

"Eura, Aerith..." I called out to my slaves as I gripped the gun in my hand.

"No quarter," I commanded.

Eura's smile turned cold, her pupils narrowing as she pulled out her sword. Aerith's magic staff glowed purple as she prepared herself to fight.

"Void Magic: Sepulcher," Aerith chanted, slamming the butt of her staff into the ground.

Giant jet-black runes appeared on the ground, shimmering purple as they took on the shape of a tombstone. Almost instantly, the runes surrounded the area we were in.

"What did you do?" The knights shouted, their voice trembling.

"They can no longer escape, master," Aerith said with a smile.

I nodded, throwing the gun back into my inventory.

Aerith prepared her next attack.

The knights charged at us, but before they could even get close, Aerith attacked.

"Void Magic: Chasm of Nothingness"

A giant chasm appeared beneath the knights. It sucked all of them like a vacuum, dragging them into the unknown.

"It's a chasm that leads to an unknown destination, those who enter it never return." Aerith let out a sigh as she closed the chasm.

"This magic, it takes too much MP to use..." Aerith complained.

On the side, Eura pouted for not being able to kill a single knight.

"I was looking forward to some action," Eura huffed.

"Don't worry, that was just an appetizer. I'll let you have some fun when the main course begins," I said to her.

"Really? That's wonderful, thank you," Eura said with a smile.

"Aerith, bring Reive here. We will attack the Baroness' domain as soon as possible. Eura, prepare the resources for travel and the carriage." I commanded.

It wasn't long before Aerith returned from the mansion.

"Reive said that he's going to rest for a while. He said that he will leave once he's ready," Aerith said.

"When would he be ready?"

I asked.

"He said he would need about a few days, I don't think that he needed to rest because of fatigue but for some other reasons," Aerith said.

"I see. Let him rest. That should be enough time for Eura to ready the supplies. If you meet Eura, tell her I'm going back to the office."

I continued my work until evening. Before I knew it, it was already time for dinner. I ordered food from the chefs before heading back to my room.

"Hiya, master~! I need a recharge with your semen ♡," Reive's voice echoed right after I reached my room.
