Note!
I've seen many Wuxia manhwas before and I can tell you for sure that the power system is very confusing. You don't have to memorize it since I'll explain things along in the novel, but just in case I kept this!
The world of Murim is set in Ancient China, precisely the Great Ming. The mainland China is called the Central Plains.
The way of martial arts has a couple of realms:
1. Third-Rate Warrior
The beginning of martial arts and the weakest in the martial arts world. Achieved after some physical and weapon training. Usually obtained by random grunts or new martial artists.
Power level: 25
2. Second-Rate Warrior
Experienced fighters who have grasped the basics of martial arts and have discovered the use of Qi. Achieved after some years of mastering the basics of martial arts and accumulating a bit of internal energy.
Power level: 50
3. First-Rate Warrior
Top-class elite warriors who have completed their foundation and can shape their Qi, which is usually used to form swords. From here they will continue to increase their internal energy and mastery of their martial arts.
4. Peak realm
Experts who have completely mastered their style of martial arts and reached the absolute human limit. They opened all of their acupuncture points and meridians, and this realm can't be achieved without talent. People who achieve this realm are referred to as martial masters, and there is a huge gap between this realm and first-rates.
5. Transcendent realm
Experts who have gone beyond simply mastering martial arts. They have improved and personalized their martial arts to suit themselves best as well as having a deep understanding of Qi. Those who enter this realm would go through Body Reformation and fully go beyond the limit of the human body. Able to use Power Qi and Telekinesis.
6. Unrestrained realm
The publicly known strongest martial realm that a martial artist can achieve. Currently, there are less than ten people who have attained the Unrestrained Realm in the current Murim world. They are a one-man army and can annihilate an entire clan just by their own whim, thus they are no longer restrained by public forces.
7. Mystic realm
A legendary realm that was so hard to achieve that only about two people could reach it in an entire era. People who have attained this realm can materialize their own power according to their own hearts and personality. The only people who are currently in this realm are the Second Heavenly Demon and the Murim Alliance leader.
8. Life and Death realm
A realm that only exists in legends. There is currently no one who has managed to attain this realm.
9. Natural realm
A realm where a being can be classified as a deity.
(I might add more but these are already enough for a lot of chapters tho)
