Prince Jordan woke up in the morning.....But he didn't see Evelina anywhere.. ..an intense restlessness spreaded all over his heart.

"WHERE'S SHE? She said she will stay here. Why she left me... I want to see her...is there anyone outside?"Prince Jordan shouted.

Andreas was guarding by the next chamber. Immediately he came inside.

"What happened,my Prince?"he hurriedly entered the Prince's chamber.

"Andreas you're here....but where is she?"Prince Jordan asked.

"You mean Evelina?"he cleared his confusion.

"Yeah, she promised not to leave...mmm.....Can you bring her?Jordan asked politely.

"As you wish."Andreas left in a speed of wind.

After a while.....

"Good morning,Jordan. Did you sleep well?"Evelina entered with her graceful smile.

She woke up a while ago and Andreas barged at her door.Just after washing her face and changing her clothes, Andreas took her here.

"Please,come inside."Jordan smiled.

"Give me an update of your physical condition....."Evelina sat on the bed.

"I'm recovering. It's a minor wounds. Don't worry. I've grown up... It's doesn't matter at all...But why did you left me last night?" Jordan asked .

"Oh I'm sorry.... Actually I went to bring these books from your library. If you get bore,then you can read the books."she handed over some books to Jordan.

"Really!! That's so nice of you. You're so considerate....."Jordan got convinced with her silly excuse.

" I brought these books for you. So give me a rewards...."Evelina started teasing him.

"Let me think....mmm ...How about I tell you the meaning of your name?"he smiled gently.

"Really!! Do you know that... I've never tried to find it."she curiously asked.

"Evelina means the one who gives life. it's like spreading livelyness."Jordan said with a confidence.

"Wow... I'm impressed.. You're talented indeed. Now let's have breakfast together."Evelina looked at a servant standing in a few distance and order him to bring the breakfast through a silent gesture.

"You're impressed.... really....!!"Jordan felt like he got every blessing of life that he needed until now. A steady peace intoxicated into his veins.

"Hmm.."

" Then kiss me here...." Prince Jordan make an adorable face.

" Oh...my little prince. You're so cute." Evelina kissed on Jordan's cheek.

Jordan's whole body shivered while a pair of soft lips touched his cheek. He clenched his fists out of nervousness.

Suddenly Andreas entered into the chamber without permission.

"My Prince sorry for interrupting but there's an emergency ..May I talk to her for a while?."Andreas asked with a gloomy voice and heavy breath.

"Yes.....But just for a while."Jordan replied sadly.

"Wait for me... I'll come back."Evelina left with Andreas leaving Jordan alone.

"come quickly... I'm waiting...." Jordan keep staring at her until she went outside with Andreas..

They walked outside the chamber and stood at the end of the long corridor to have a safe distance for their conversation.

"Evelina, there's a bad news and good news for you."Andreas said.

"Tell me what is it?"she got a little frightened.

"Actually..I got some information. You know Samuel couldn't manage to attend the fest yesterday. And he isn't coming today as well. He's too busy. So he will be directly heading to the South without visiting you .But the good news is they need the permission letter, and the emperor will be sending it today. You can asked the emperor and carry it to the ship. So that you'll be able to meet him."Andreas said with a smile but feel deep pain in his heart.

"Okay... I'm going to ask the emperor.You go back and take care of the prince."Evelina was about to walk away but Andreas grabbed her hand.

"Stop "he stopped her.

"What!! Is there anything else?"she asked looking back.

"Nothing....I just...."he tried to say something.

"Come on ,hurry up!!"she glanced at him and then shifted her gaze towards the gate.

"Why don't you go today and give him a proper goodbye. Then comeback."

"What do you mean!!"

"you're still in love with Samuel ,right?he asked with a frustrating.

"Why are you asking? Is there anything wrong with that? "Evelina asked while looking at him.

"I know I'm the one who gave you the information. But It's not necessary to visit him with this much hope....Why don't you just take it another way...and think about yourself ...!!"

" Why you're talking like this?" Evelina asked while releasing her hands.

" Don't pretend as if you no nothing. You know how I feel about you. Don't you?"

"Why you're telling this now!! It's been a long time. you still didn't get rid of those stupid feelings." Evelina let out a sigh.

" That what I'm talking about. It's been a long time. And you're still blinded by Samuel that you can't even see me. Listen to me Eve. He's going to the South. There will be another war. Even though it's not that big...But who can say if anything happens to him..What if he die in this war!!.."

" ANDREAS..."

" let's just think nothing will happen to him in the war. But the Emperor is planning to make him the chief of Commander of Southern ocean replacing the current one. He has to stay there for long. MAYBE FOREVER.And you'll be staying in the palace if I'm not wrong. " Andreas tried to manipulate her.

" So what... DISTANCE NEVER AFFECTED OUR RELATIONSHIP.... It's only deepened our bond." Evelina's eyes filled with tears.

Andreas pulled Evelina into his embrace.

"Eve, come back to reality. You've turned an adult now. How long you'll fight with this solitude. You two never meant to be together.... He's not the right choice for you. So today, you should go and meet him for the last time. Give him a proper farewell and move on. Let's start over a new life together here in the Palace." Andreas hugged her more tightly.

" Are you kidding me...!!" Evelina pushed him away.

" No.... I'm serious. Samuel will never choose you over his duty towards the nation. I'm the right choice for you. We can start a new life here. Think about it.... Both of us can take care of the Prince without harming our personal life."

" Oh really!! Then let me ask you Andreas, do you have the courage to choose me over Prince Jordan?? Everything is favourable for you now. But if you were in Samuel's position, whom would you choose??" Evelina gave a mocking smile.

" ..." Andreas remained silent as he couldn't find any answer.

" Why don't you say anything.....!! Let me answer for you..... you'll choose Prince Jordan without any hesitation.... and even if you were in Samuel's position, you would choose the nation indeed." Evelina gave a winning smile.

" Evelina.... didn't you do the same....??" Andreas asked.

" yeah.... WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT. And this is the answer of your all questions. Look, it's not your fault to fall in love me.... But it also isn't my fault to fall in love with Samuel. And we can't just change our hearts because of the unfavorable situation. We have to accept what is written in our destiny."

" I know that.....And maybe my priority is the Prince. I'll never choose anyone over him. But still we can find our happiness within the sorrow that is written in our fate. If we want we can change it." Andreas tried his best to convince her.

" That won't be happiness.... That will be just a temporary illusion. So please don't talk anymore if you want to preserve our friendship." Evelina made a cold face.

" Eve....." Andreas made a regretting voice.

" I'll go and meet with Samuel . But it's not our last meeting. We'll meet again. We'll be together forever. There won't be any farewell. Nothing will happen to him either. Do you understand?"

" I'm sorry if I crossed my limit."

" it's okay. I'll take my leave now. you should go back to the Prince. We can't leave him alone." Evelina ordered him to go back.

" Oh I forgot about the Prince..... I'll go then." Andreas covered his disappointment with another topic.

He was about to go back inside the Prince's chembar but Evelina stopped him.

"Andreas... try to strengthen our friendship instead of spoiling it. " Evelina said those words in a calm voice.

Andreas heard from Evelina but didn't turned his face towards him. He went inside with a slight node as an acceptation of Evelina's statement.

Evelina hurriedly went to meet the Emperor.

Inside Prince Jordan's chember

"My Prince ..Sorry to say this, but Evelina won't be able to accompany you during the breakfast."Andreas said with fear of hurting the prince.

"WHAT...!! Then I won't eat. Just bring her back."Jordan's mood changed after hearing from Andreas.

"But She has already left the Palace by this time..." Andreas lowered his head.

" W H A T D O Y O U M E A N..!!" Jordan pushed a vase beside his bed and broke it into pieces..

"I don't know anything... I want to see Evelina right now.....Why she's always running away from me..... Everytime she has something to do..." Jordan shouted furiously.

"She's the northern Commander.. it's obvious for her to have a busy schedule." Andreas tried to make a trustable excuse to keep the Prince calm.

"But I'm the Prince....Is her work more important than me....Go and bring her back. I want to have breakfast with her." Jordan blushed up while saying the last words.

"But my Prince..... Actually it is the Emperor who has ordered her to go to our oceanic basecamp. She'll come back soon. We can't do anything in this matter....."Andreas replied.

"If it's Emperor father, then I can't go against him...you may leave." Jordan didn't show his stubbornness anymore as he is afraid of the Emperor.

He laid on the bed again.

"Won't you eat?"

"No... I'll eat later.....You may go now...." Jordan make a sad face.

".mmmmm....if I accompany you ....what say? Will you eat with me , my Prince??" Andreas asked with a smile.

"Really.....if you join me...Then I'll eat ....Will you tell me a lot of stories as last time?..." Jordan sat up from the bed as his mood again changed.

"What kind of stories should I tell you this time..." Andreas thought for a while.

" Do you know anything about Evelina? Can you tell me about her?" Jordan asked with a hope.

" Of course I can.... No one is better than me in talking about her. I know everything about her.... You know We've grew up together in the soilders barracks." Andreas smiled at his own behaviour but he couldn't stop himself talking about Evelina.

Jordan kept listening Andreas as if he's reciting any enchanted spell while telling him about their childhood stories.

Both of them had a lengthy breakfast even though they ate less and talked more.....

Evelina has requested to the Emperor to let her carry the permission letter of the current mission. The Emperor agreed easily. Though he was hesitating at first but when Evelina insisted, he couldn't refuse her.

Evelina then immediately left the capital as it'll took 3 days to reach there. She started her journey with a small ship towards the center of the main sea area where Samuel has created his basecamp.

"Samuel will be shocked after seeing me."Evelina thought and smile. The gentle breeze though her face and took away all her worries.

The Prince Manor:

"Oh this headache!! I can't sleep."Prince Jordan held his head with his both hand while trying his best to fall asleep.

"This night is so cold and uncomfortable...Is there anyone outside?"he shouted out loud with an irritation in his voice.

A servant came inside.

"Asked my Empress mother to visit me."he said impatiently .

After a while the 2nd Empress entered into his chamber.

"What happened dear. Why do you ask for me in this late hour of the night ... and why are you still awaking?"the Empress ask him while she sat beside him.

"Empress mother, I can't sleep. I don't know what happening to me....."Jordan swiftly laid on his mother's lap...

"But what is it my little baby. what's disturbing you."Empress asked touching Jordan's hair.

" I don't know.... I'm feeling so uneasy. Please give me some sleeping pills.... I want to sleep." Jordan kept covering his forehead with his long fingers.

"No ... it's harmful for your health. Try to sleep without it. I'll tell you a story." The Empress started patting his head time to time.

" No.... ANOTHER STORY....I don't want to hear. Andreas already told me thousands of stories from the last two days. I can't take it anymore. Please give me some sleeping pills instead. She's already all over my head..... I want to get rid of her...Oh...." Jordan mumbled with an annoyance.

"SHE ...!! WHAT DO MEAN...? Is there anyone dared to disturb my son!! Should I punish Andreas?" the empress frowned with curiosity.

"No, mother. The stories were good. In fact I kept insisting him to tell me more..." Jordan's face turned red .

" And who is the "SHE"?"

"It's Evelina who is disturbing me."Jordan felt so frustrated all of a sudden.

"Evelina....!! I didn't understand ?"the Empress looked at Jordan face.

Jordan raised his head and sat up.

"I don't know mother.i just can't get her out of my mind, whenever I closed my eyes i always pictured her Face. I'm feeling too much restlessness. It's something strange...I mean from the very first time i saw her face, i kind of have this Extreme peace that I never felt before my life. But now it's irritating me. It's feel like I'm running out of my breath. And on top of that this pain is killing me"Jordan showed his injured arm.

The empress ignore his injured arm.

"Wait...what did you just say about Evelina....!!" the Empress gathered her focus to listen from Jordan.....

"I don't know.... Just tell her to come back soon.... I feel like I'll die of I don't see her now.... Bring her back.....I want her to stay with me always... .."Jordan tried to stop his tears.

"Jordan..... Did you fall in love with her?."Empress asked him with an astonishing voice.

" FALL IN LOVE.....mmmm..I don't know...mmm....maybe....I guess so."Prince Jordan nodded with a confusing look.

The 2nd Empress became speechless after hearing from Jordan...She thought for a while . Then she hit upon a plan.

" Whatever you're feeling for her..... This is called love. How about you marry her? Then she'll stay with you forever." the Empress tried to manipulate the Prince.

"Really..can I do that?"Jordan aksed to clearify what he heard.

" Why not.... you're my only Prince. I can give you anything you want let alone a girl...just tell me once." Empress gave him assurence.

"Okay then give me just Evelina.... I'll be glad if you give her to me forever. I don't need anything else ... I want to stay with her all the time....every day or every night..." Jordan's eyes shined with a sparkle of hope.

"As you wish....." the Empress laid Jordan to his bed again.

"But... mother....!!"

" What is it.."

" Will she agree to marry me? What if she refuse to marry me?" Jordan made a nervous demeanor.

" Then I'll let her marry someone else and she'll leave the Palace to live with his husband. You'll never get to meet her ever again." the Empress calmly told Jordan while rubbing his head.

" MOTHER..." Jordan's face turned pale.

" Hahahah... I'm just teasing you, my son. She won't refuse you. My Jordan is so charming.Not only her, there's no girl in the world has the guts to refuse my handsome son...."the Empress smiled.

Jordan got relaxed hearing her words. Finally he heard what he wanted to hear. His head is no longer aching.

He never been this much happy in his whole life. He felt like after all this suffocation, now finally he can breath peacefully.

"Okay then.... from now on , Evelina is yours.I'll aksed your Emperor father for the permission of your marriage..The ist Prince has married twice at your age. I didn't notice that you've grown up too..."Empress said carefully.

The 2nd Empress never saw her son this much happy. Finally she got a way by which she can distract her son's depressed mind or even drive him to lead a normal life like others. Besides, this is the best decision for everyone.
