CHAPTER-24( when a desert encountered with the rain after a long time but it's not enough)

Andreas's Manor:

Jordan is sitting on a couch struggling with a lot of strange thought and feelings in his mind.

He's leaning his hands on the table and thinking silently.

Federico is sitting beside him and Andreas groaming and walking continuously in front of them.

"Andreas, can you stop circling like an abandoned ghost on my head....come on buddy, I'm already tensed. Your behavior making me more irritated"Jordan shoot in a sad voice.

"My Lord" Andreas seated in front of jordan.

"I have a feeling that we're repeating the same mistakes, again." Jordan shoot with fear.

"No this time we're fully prepared.she won't run away this time."Andreas said.

"But we're again forcing her like we've done in the past." Jordan said.

"We just need to make her realize that she loves you. She actually loves you. If it's not then she'll eventually fall for you very soon. She has a weak point for you in her heart."Andreas tried to create a valid excuse defending their actions.

"And what about keeping her like that?" Jordan asked raising his eyebrows.

"Well...can you find any other way. She'll leave you if we don't force her living here. Now she's here, it's your chance to impress her. Just wait until she calm her anger." Andreas smiled.

"That makes a sense."Jordan smile back.

Federico smiled and said,

"Yeah.... It's a matter of time. No one can survive Your Majesty's charm. Can't you see all the girls of our cavalry couldn't help but fall for our Lord. Have you ever seen anyone who could control their thirst for his handsome face. She's also a girl after all."

"Stop with your witless logic. You're talking like you also failed to resist his handsome face...." Andreas mocked at Federico.

"Stop talking about nonsense... It's you whom I never saw hanging out with girls. And you're doubting me."Federico laughed.

"Both of you stop mocking around. We're discussing something important." Jordan shouted.

"Sorry, my Lord."

Martha entered the chamber and bowed to Jordan.

"Did you called me,my Lord?" she eagerly asked.

"Who called you? Sorry but I didn't." Jordan looked at her with a confusingly.

"Well I've called you, my Grace. Perdon me. I hope you didn't mind." Andreas said in a polite manner lowering his head.

Martha looked at him expressionlessly.

"My Lord, she can rescue us from these difficulties. Do you get that." Federico whispered in Jordan's ears.

"Oh...she actually can help." Jordan nodded after thinking a while.

Martha sifted her gaze towards Jordan.

"You listen to me, you and Evelina are good friends, right?"Jordan asked.

"Yes,my Lord"

"Actually we need your help ...can you do that?" Jordan asked.

"Sure, why not. I'll do whatever you'll say.....you just need to order me."Martha became happy that Jordan himself asking for help to her.

"WELL..... THE THING IS THAT, we have information that Evelina haven't yet eated anything since the afternoon. I'm afraid She'll get sick. Can you take this bowl of soup and make her agreed to drink it."

Jordan indicated a bowl of soup keeping on the table.

Martha became anxious that Evelina didn't eat anything for a long time. So she promptly agreed without wasting time.

"Thank you for helping. I'll be pleased if you succeed to feed her anything....."Jordan smiled.

"No need to thank me. I'm grateful for getting a chance to serve my Lord at least. It's a pleasure that you thought of me worthy for helping you... besides I'm also worried for Evelina." Martha blushed with a pinkish aura looking at Jordan.

Jordan didn't notice her properly as he was really tensed about the up coming consequences.

Then Martha left a maid who carried the bowl.....

In the Emperor's Manor:

Evelina is standing on the corridor. Honestly she doesn't have any plan of running away this time. Everything happened so swiftly that she still trying to put them together and understand them.

She's confused now and tired also. Though she's furious at Jordan but she's a person of one word. She has been defeated by Jordan in sword fighting. And she promised that she'll stay. This time she will face it instead of running away.So she have to try at least someday to cope with the environment... If it's become uncomfortable for her living, then she'll try to leave this palace...as she used to live in the ocean...

But still she's feeling restless. Maybe she want to see Prince Daniel. He's really cute. Evelina seems to like him. He's like a little cute toy for Evelina. She never got a chance to get closer to any kid for a long time... In fact she never being that fortunate to have a baby of her own...

"What a luck....." Evelina took a deep breath.

Martha entered with a maid holding the bowl and didn't see Evelina in the chember.

Evelina come back from the Corridor hearing Martha's footsteps.

"Why are you here at this time?" Evelina asked in a cold voice.

"You haven't yet eaten anything, so I bring some soup for you."

"Sorry but I'm not in the mood of eating. You can take it back." Evelina said avoiding eye contact.

"Please drink it."

"No please, I don't want to. You can leave now."

"If you drink the soup , our Lord will be impressed with me that I made you agree to eat something. So please have it. Or else he'll be angry at me." Martha said.

"What are you saying.....did he treat you bad?" Evelina raised her eyebrows.

" No that's not the thing. He always treated me well. I just want to be the reason of his smiling. He's worried about you. If you drink this, then he'll be happy with my work. I just want a chance to make a strong relationship with my Lord... Please have it ..." Martha requested.

"You're...really something.....If it makes you happy then I'll drink the soup." Evelina took the bowl and drank the whole soup within a second.

"Thanks for keeping my request...."

" Now come here and seat with me for a while. It's been a long time we couldn't have a chat with each other... Come here. I was thinking about your son just now...." Evelina dragged her towards the couch.

" About Daniel!! That's so sweet of you. Do you like him.....?" Martha asked with a smile.

"Of course. He's the cutest kid I've ever seen. He just goes on his father exactly. So tell me, how have you been all these years? I hope it wasn't difficult for you and Daniel in this palace?"

" Oh don't tell me. It was really hard. You went away leaving me alone here. This Palace is a bloody place. In order to live here you have to fight for every moment. I spent all my time fighting against other consorts and concubines. They're so jealous of me ,I don't know why.... I couldn't even took care of my son properly and every time gave all my focus on keeping us secure..."

" Oh....my dear... I'm really sorry for leaving you among these two faced people."

" No it's okay. Now you're here. I can live peacefully without any fear of harming by others. I know you'll save me and my Daniel. Please stay here from now on...." Martha made a spoiled but cute face.

" Actually I...."

" Are you going to run away again... please don't do that...we all need you. Besides my Lord's heart will again get broken by you. It was hard for him.... I saw him all these years. He suffered a lot. Now please don't make him suffer more..... He really loves you."

" Yeah... I'll think about what you said... But I'm feeling so tired and sleepy. I think it's because of the journey..." Evelina grasped her head.

"Okay then you take some rest. I'll take my leave." Martha was about to leave the chembar but Evelina fell on the floor.

She started feeling so tired suddenly. It's like she haven't slept for thousands of night. She tried to stood up with her imbalanced legs but couldn't make it..... Then she fell in a deep sleep.

"What happened to you .....I have to inform it to my Lord..." Martha shouted while holding Evelina in her lap. She became extremely nervous after detecting that Evelina fainted out.

She looked at the maid and gave her a signal to call the Emperor.

The maid hurrindly ran to inform Jordan about the situation.

In the Morning:

Evelina woke up in the morning with a heavy she's feeling so drowsy.

But her utter surprise, she found herself in Jordan's arm. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw herself sharing the same blanket with Jordan.Jordan is sleeping next to Evelina holding her closer in his embrace. His arms are tightly wrapped around her naked body.

Evelina felt so weak.But still she released herself from Jordan's chains of arms and sat up on the bed with great difficulties. After getting back to her senses, she got a huge shock, when she discovered herself without any clothes..... She swiftly wrapped herself with a blanket after not seeing a single piece of clothing on her body.

"WHERE'S MY CLOTHES!! What's going on here....nohhh...." Evelina shouted loudly looking at Jordan.

Evelina's loud voice awaken Jordan .

He sat up on the bed and asked with a half sleepy voice,

"What happen, my sweet wife. Why you're shouting...." Jordan leaned his head on Evelina's shoulder to fulfill his incomplete sleep.

Evelina pushed away him instantly.

"What the hell on Earth did you do to me last night ?" Evelina asked with her red eyes and impure soul.

Jordan fully woke up sensing Evelina's devastating situation. He smiled with a blush.... Then he again came closer to Evelina and kissed on her exposed shoulder .

"We just did what a married couple do... Why you're looking so surprised... DIDN'T YOU DESCRIBED MY BEHAVIOUR IN THIS WAY IN FRONT OF THE EMPEROR FATHER. I just turned your false accusation into a real one... ." Jordan said with a low melting voice while placing his hands into her waist so that she couldn't push him again. He attached his mouth below the ear of Evelina.

Evelina couldn't gather any energy to oppose him.

" How could....you...!! Without my permission.....you dare to..." Evelina said in a broken voice.

" Shh...i did what i should have done many years ago. But that time you deceived me and tried to escape. Do you remember when you caught by my mother." Jordan came close to her neck and about to kiss there Evelina pushed him again on the other side of the bed.

"Why you did this sin.... Jordan.....Why..."Evelina brusted into tears while cursing him.

Jordan didn't answer her. He took a deep breath and stood up while wrapping a thin but long quilt around his waist. He walked towards the other side of the bed where Evelina was sitting.

Evelina subconsciously glanced over his back shoulders. There were a lot of deep blue scars of flogging all over his back. Some of these were healed and almost faded away. And some of these were visual and fresh as if he got these injuries a few weeks ago.

Jordan noticed that Evelina has looked at his body. He smiled.

"Won't you ask me how I get these wounds??"

Evelina said nothing. The flowing tears paused on her eyes and turned her face more glossy.

"Because of your stupid complain, the Emperor father punished me with this. He was about to kill me but couldn't kill as I was his only bloodline. So he kept me captured in my Manor. From the past five years they didn't let me stepped outside for once. And that wasn't enough for them....They tortured me every month. I got 100 floggings in every month for the past five years. And you know what....They always kept a gap of one month between every batch of torture,so that I stay alive. They gave me time to heal my injuries so that they could give me new one... Thanks to you my life was so heavenly all these years.... Your absence suffocated me mentally and they tormented me physically... It's all because of you..... TELL ME SHOULD I HATE YOU NOW FOR THIS!!" Jordan kept narrating these bitter memories in his tender voice.

"Yeah.....You should hate me.... Hate me from the core of your heart.....hate me, torture me and kill me.....At least my soul will be free from your shackles then." Evelina furiously shouted.

Even though she's feeling guilty after hearing everything that happened with Jordan. But that guilt added an extra anger instead of redusing it.

Jordan wasn't expecting any consolation from her anyway. So he responded with a flawless smile in his face.

"SEEMS LIKE YOU STILL DIDN'T UNDERSTAND!! I know I should hate you...In fact I was about to hate you. I'm a human after all. Isn't it obvious for me to hate you after what you've done to me. But how I can I hate my Eve....So I didn't let myself to get swamped by this hatred. Do you want to know how I did it!!"

"What do you mean..."

"You've wronged me so many times. So I wanted to do something terrible to you as same as you've done to me. And last night I've completed my this desire too.... NOW WE'RE EQUAL....And don't worry... whatever I've done with you, It's not a part of my revenge. I could I take revenge from my love. I did it so that I can regret....I also want to feel guilty towards you....So that this guilt will never let me hate you. The more I'll burn off repentance, the deeper my love will grow...." Jordan tried to come closer to her.

"You've lost you mind...."Evelina said with a great frustration

She's about to stand up from the bed but Jordan hold her hands strongly and pulled her towards him.

" You're not allowed to go away from me let alone standing up from the bed without my permission." Jordan said in a dominating tone.

"Jordan....." Evelina shouted.

" Now that our previous accounts have been settled down, I have no shame to accept that everything I felt for you in my childhood was nothing but my absurd obsession. It wasn't love at all..I was so naive and hot-blooded back then,I just got influenced by my acute inclination towards you. BUT Now I've understood the true definition of love..." Jordan's voice suddenly turned extremely chilled and horrible.

Evelina felt a dangerous vibe looking at Jordan's narrowed cornea. Eventually Her spinal cord got paralyzed with the intense voice emanating from him and intoxicating with the cold air.

Jordan removed the heavy blanket between them into a corner. The cold breeze vaguely thwacked all over her unclothed figure. She curled up herself uncomfortably.

Jordan reduced the distance within them into centimetres and slowly took another quilt keeping aside.

Evelina felt like she became disable of moving from his mirages as he unfold the quilt and swaddled it around Evelina's naked body.

He carefully covered up her striped skin and tied up the quilt across her bosoms while talking in a steady voice,

"Now I can confidently say that the feelings I have for you are no longer any fascination... It's turned into a firm love. Yes,Eve.... It's no longer childish or meaningless anymore.... This time my love is so deep and mature. It solid like rock.... I've cultivated an extremely pure and devine love for you....and I know you won't be able to resist the love this time." Jordan's atrocious voice turned soft and comfortable.

He laid her on the bed again and leaned over her.

" What the heck.... Get up from me.....Your words has no value for me now... you've got what you've wanted. So just go away... Don't irritate me more." Evelina looked with a angry face.

Jordan felt disappointed in his heart that he couldn't convince Evelina.

" Yeah..... Finally I've got you. I can't believe that you made me wait for 5 years....Can you imagine how much I've burned of agony every night..... So I wanted to complete our first time without any obstacles. No one should come between us, not even you...." Jordan forcefully kissed on her forehead.

" Stop disturbing me... Get lost I said!!" Evelina shouted.

"Ahh.... Why you're behaving so rudely. Can't you be a little bit gentler. You know how exotic you wear last night..." Jordan said wrapping Evelina with his long arms.

" I don't want to know....." Evelina covered her ears out of embarrassment.

" Oh....you should know.... It was totally different. You were in a deep sleep. I guess this medicine is strong enough. I mean I've fulfilled all my fantasies with you, but you didn't even wake up once...You can't imagine how much terrible things I've done with you last night.... Whatever everything is alright now. It's felt like I had sex with a death corpse... A sexy corpse...hahaha" Jordan laughed.

She looked at Jordan angrily.

" Oh....that f****g soup....why I ate that...." Evelina regretted.

" Why you're saying like this.... I guess you wanted to stay awake when i had sex with you.. Actually I missed your screaming. It would be more better if you could response back to my every action... But it's okay next time we'll do it with both of our mental presence....." Jordan immersed his face in Evelina's embrace and gently smiled with a satisfaction.

"Next time.... Are you kidding me... Just move away....."

"Why you're getting so angry my dear.... Now you've returned to me again. There will be next time or even thousand times..... It took a long time to get you..... And don't blame me... I've done everything according to your will..."

" ACCORDING TO MY WILL.... Did I said to touch my body without my permission after making me fall in a deep sleep...."

" No....but don't you remember.. once you told me that you won't let me have you because I was inexperienced then. I never thought that I actually have to gain experiences in order to get you. It was so disgusting for me to touch another woman... However I've done it. Now I'm experienced.....So in other words I did everything with your consent... Are you happy now...." Jordan gave a strange smile.

"Are you mad....I just made an excuse to avoid your clinginess that time...." Evelina exptended her hands towards the another corner of the bed as she saw her clothes there.

" No.... You're not allowed to wear your clothes... you're looking good in this way... " Jordan captured her hands in his grip.

He then placed his hands under the quilt and touched Evelina's legs. Evelina felt a little bit pain between her thighs when Jordan hold her ankle.

He was about to expand her legs a little widely but Evelina sat up suddenly .

Evelina got too much furious and slapped on his face.

Jordan got shocked. He touched his face and lowered his head.

" What happened? Let's just do it again.... I enjoyed last night.it was so exciting.... Why you slapped me when we've already done it anyway..." Jordan said in a requesting way.

"If you don't wanna get another slap then get out of here. I said LEAVE." Evelina shouted.

Jordan got a little bit afraid. Maybe he messed up everything.... Evelina isn't looking comfortable ..

Jordan stood up and put on his clothes. Then he looked at Evelina.

"I'm sorry Eve, for hurting you like this. I've met you after so many years. And you never let me touched you. So I couldn't resist myself." Jordan try to explain.

" I don't need your thousands of explanation.You better leave . I don't want to talk." Evelina sat on the bed after loosing her strength of standing.

"Don't be angry. Okay fine, I'm going.... I've to attend the court anyway....so I'll be leaving now, my dear wife. You just calm down and take some rest...." Jordan left.

Jordan feeling guilty. He hasn't plan of all these actually. He just wanted to stay the whole night with his angle as they met after a long time. But Evelina didn't want to see his face. So Andreas made this solution so that Jordan could sleep beside Evelina on the same bed at least.

But then he couldn't control himself after seeing Evelina so closer to him. There were no one between them and Evelina was fainted. So Jordan couldn't suppress his boundless desires ...every emotions leaded him towards Evelina. So at a result, he ended up making her angry...

Jordan left with a sad face as he again spoiled everything...

After his leaving...

Evelina sat there wrapping that quilt around her and stared at the light red marks on her skin that caused by Jordan. God knows what else he did last night with her.

Evelina tried to stand up from the bed but her legs were so weak. It lost all the strength to stand up. Evelina's lower body felt like paralyzed due to a long time suffering. As she couldn't stand up, so she remain sat on the bed with a lot of wave in her mind . She doesn't know how long she sat like this.

Time passed away.....but she keep staring on the ground.... Her hair stood in every few seconds thinking about the unknown thing of last night.

She called some maids standing outside to prepare the bathhouse for her. She wants to get rid of all the dirt from her body as soon as possible.
