Audrey’s eyes widened when they heard the commotion.

“We don’t have much time sweetheart, do it” Carson urged.

Audrey took a deep breath letting her fangs appear. She ran it on the nape of his neck make him shiver.

Carson gripped her waist tighter sucking in a breath himself.

Her teeth sunk into his skin. Carson gritted his teeth in pain.

Audrey felt pleasure surged through her as she drank some of his blood. The pain he felt turned to a feeling he has never felt before. He started to get turned on.

Audrey retracted her fangs and licked his wound earning a groan from Carson. He felt power flow through him. His eyes turned red like that of the cold bloods.

“That was amazing sweetheart” he said his forehead on hers.

Aerlda looked at her sister without worry. If the vampire king wanted to display his power, they were going to as well.

“You think you can kill me?, you cold bloods are as arrogant as you can be”

Thea spun her head around, her body staying as it was. She looked at the Vampire King whose eyes were locked on Audrey and Carson.

How dare he mark her?

“How dare the Alpha mark his own mate?Pathetic!” she spat then proceeded to recite a spell.

Her body vanished from his hold in a smoke form. The smoke travelled to where Aerlda stood and with a smirk, they vanished from the scene. They watched from another dimension with the other witches.

Without wasting anymore time, they conjured a spell to transport werewolves from their cities. One by one the wolves, injured and dead vanished from the scene.

The werewolf king spoke through the link “my apologies Alphas, please understand that we must all leave. For the safety of the boy and his mate”.

Carson looked around to see that they were in the council room. His hands still wrapped around Audrey who was shaking.

She felt her soul being pulled out of her body.

“Come child, don’t be afraid” a voice called to her.

Her eyes were turning white, her teeth clattering.

“Audrey? Baby look at me” Carson said getting worried.

Case, get in touch with her wolf he said to his wolf.

“She’s not responding, I can’t feel her, something is wrong with mate”

“no shit sherlock”

“Dad?, something is wrong with my mate. Audrey please answer me” Carson called as he held on to her limp body.

“Aerlda, what’s wrong with her?” Alpha Nigel asked.

“Quick, lay her down” Aerlda ordered.”Thea?”

“She’s having a vision Alpha. And the power is beginning to manifest but I assure you she will be fine”

“Who are you?” Audrey asked as two women approached her in an empty space of white background.

“I’m the moon goddess, and this is the witch goddess”.

“Am I dead?”

“Of course not, you’re merely experiencing change” the witch goddess said.

“Listen my dear, you are going to need training. Your powers are going to be all over the place and if you don’t learn to control them, you could hurt someone, especially your mate”

“I would never hurt him” she argued.

“I understand but the power might push you over the edge. We’ll see each other again soon. Your warriors will train you. Good bye dear Audrey”.

Carson held his mate’s hand as he watched her unconscious state. He had never been as worried as he is at the moment.

“She’s going to be fine Alpha” Danny said.

He looked up to him and gave a sad smile.

“She has to be okay”

“Hold on, where’s her bracelet?” Chad asked inspecting her wrists.

“What bracelet?” Carson asked in confusion.

“We gifted her a bracelet we forged. It is going to keep her powers in check” Chad replied.

“I didn’t notice her take it off, did you?” Hazel questioned Aryanna.

“We have to get it back before she wakes up” Alton interrupted.

“Do you know where to find it?” Carson asked.

“It should be in her house, we didn’t go anywhere else” Aryanna answered.

“Let’s go” He stood.

“Let them go get it son, you need to stay with your mate” Alpha Nigel said. Carson was about to argue when Aerlda spoke “He’s right Alpha, you’re the only one who can calm her down, if she wakes up without you here” she didn’t have to complete the statement.

Everyone knew.

Carson thought for a second, they were right. She would need him when she wakes up.

“You’re right. She needs me” he said as he brushed a strand of hair off her forehead.

“You have to hurry, she might wake up anytime soon” Aerlda warned.

The Vampire king trashed around his kingdom in rage. He had been so close to getting the girl.

He killed off the spies he had hired. Their incompetency angered him to insanity.

They had one job! To get his girl.

“My king” his mate to him.

He ignored the woman, she was never going to be good enough for him.

Once his eyes landed on Audrey, her innocent beauty blinded him.

There was only one thing left to do.

“Gather your men, we’re going hunting in the human world. We need an army” he told his adviser.

The warriors stood at the front door to Audrey’s house.

“Hello sir, ma’am” Aryanna greeted.

“Hello dear” Audrey’s mother answered. “Please come inside”.

“Thank you, we need help finding a bracelet that we had forged for Audrey” Alton said in a hurry.

“And you are?” her father asked eyeing the boy.

“I’m Alton, Hazel’s mate. A warrior assigned to protect your daughter as she goes through her training.”

“Warrior? What training?” her father questioned.

“I’m sorry but we don’t have time to explain. Audrey is going through a vision right now and if we don’t get the bracelet to her, she’s going to hurt people when she wakes up” Hazel said marching toward Audrey’s room.

“Found it!” she called walking towards them.

“Alright let’s go”.

“Hold on, I want to see my daughter” Audrey’s mother said.

“I’m sorry ma’am, like they said we don’t have time. But I guess you can come with us”. They all stepped out of the house and started heading towards the Alpha’s.

Audrey groaned in her sleeping form, sweat prickling on her forehand.

Case search for her wolf again Carson instructed his wolf.

“Still nothing. Where are they with the bracelet and when will mate wake up?

“I don’t know buddy, but she will, she has to” Carson replied.

Thea passed him a bowl of cold water and a towel to press her forehead with. She was beginning to burn up.

Just then Alton mind linked him “Alpha, her parents insisted on following us, just wanted to give you a heads up”

“Thank you, how close are you?” Carson enquired.

“We’re six minutes out” Alton replied.

“I’m not meant for this goddess” Audrey whined.

“Yes you are child, we chose you because we knew you could do it” the witch goddess said.

“Go now, you need to wake up. We will see you again” they said in unison before vanishing.
