On the second floor, the atmosphere is rampant, with monsters popping up from everywhere and coming out of who knows where to assemble.

However, that does not mean every monster was preparing for the wave. During this time, weaker monsters were able to develop a bit by taking advantage of the fact that all predators were preparing for the wave ahead.

In the seconds just before my exit from a dungeon I had just cleared, there was a wall of sound awaiting me. There is an ear-piercing cacophony from the giant mushrooms and trees around it. Blood-curdling howls emanate from the ceiling and the distant walls over and over again.
