Henry and I were both screwed.
Why? The swords we chose were not of the type in which the swordmaster Selena specializes.
"How come you didn't know what sort of sword the instructor was using?" I asked, my gaze fixed on Henry. I had several plans in my mind, but they were all now meaningless.
I also intended to learn that high-level sword technique through the system and from the swordmaster.
"I only knew about her from rumours and hearsay. This is my first time seeing her; did you really believe someone like me would ever have the opportunity to get to know her well?" Henry extended his arm, implying that it was not his fault.
"Please excuse me." We both looked in the direction of the voice that was speaking to us.
Henry flinched as I looked at the person who had clearly come for us.
Lance Ironwing.
"Yes?"
"You're a commoner, aren't you?" He inquired directly.
I knew right away that the guy had not come to make friends.
