Ambush

"The temperature is turning cold."

The arid night was just as unpleasant as the day. The sun has vanished, and the moon has taken its place.

The gorgeous moonlight betrayed the night's severity.

It was brutally freezing as if the night were the polar opposite of the day.

"Set up three additional fires around us because the night is going to be cold. Monsters aren't the only things capable of killing us." I started as I piled up the final scale from the sandcrawler to make a cover to keep the freezing desert breeze at bay.

We had already burned the bodies of the students, and to be honest, none of us felt so guilty about it. It just left a foul taste; there was nothing to be concerned about.

And I've already gotten the memories.

But before I could recollect all of his memories, there was one more thing I needed to accomplish.
