Chapter 1: Quick adaptation?

Have you ever dreamed of coming to an unfamillar yet famillar place once you've open your eyes?

The feeling of just closing your eyes and opening them once again, which leads you to a realistic dream which you do not want to wake up from.

If you haven't, then your imagination is that of a person with no ambitions in life, and only lives life because it is the only thing you know.

Living a life without imagination no matter how far-fetched it is from reality is like a slave, only doing what you need to do in order to survive.

If you do not have the imagination, dream, and ambition then your life is worthless.

Well what can I say? I am just a teenager whom found himself in an unfamillar yet famillar world the moment I opened my eyes.

Might you be wondering why I am talking to myself like a philosopher? And even with the fact that I know that others that has no imagination, dreams, and ambition in life once had them but didn't achieve them as they encountered unfortunate events that led them to break and live a life of emptiness with no big goals in life.

Well I do not know myself, as it was just a passing thought that came to my mind suddenly because of my current situation.

Yes, as I said before. I am in an unfamillar yet famillar place at the same time.

How you ask?

It's because I am in another world which I played before I was transported, or maybe reincarnated in.

I panicked at first because of obvious reasons. But as minutes passed by, I regained my composure and surveyed my surroundings, as I have read many clichès such as my current predicament.

It really is a fact that humans have an insane adaptability to the unknown. Crazy right?

But I knew that my adaptation was too fast, maybe because I am still thinking of this as a dream, or the fact that I always dream of someday being in another world which I have read.

But who knows? Only time will tell if I'll go crazy later once I confirmed the fact that I was indeed in another world and not in a dream.

If this is real, then I'm worried about my family back home. And if I went missing or died.

Haiyahh.... worrying about that won't help me in my current situation, so I'll forget about that for now and find out the this world.

***

A week has passed, and I can confidently state some facts.

Firstly, I am in a novel I used to read back when I was hooked up to it.

Secondly, I have no significance in the story. Meaning the body I am now did not appear in the story.

Thirdly, I now know that I am not in a dream as I've found out during the fifth day.

And lastly, I am f*cked.

Having remembered the contents of this world, I came to the conclusion that I need to plan my future ASAP.

Why?

Because I am the only son of a viscount. And with the previous hosts talent being acceptable in the prestigious academy where the story is mainly focused in, I can't avoid my fate of getting into trouble.

Not only that, but I know for a fact that I'll be involved to the main story one way or another, as I've read many many stories which the MC tries to stay away from the plot but in the end couldn't and causes a butterfly effect which they did not want.

Thankfully god did not forbid me and gave me time to prepare before the main story started.

In addition to that, I also got myself a system which I still am trying to think of how to use in order to maximize my gains before the main story starts.

As this was a world with swords and magic, and with my knowledge of this world. I need to maximize my gains to prepare for the butterfly effect that will be brought upon this world.

Haiyah.... this is gonna be one heck of a train to ride.

Author notes: (Please feel free to point out my mistakes so I can improve and if you have tips on writing, please do tell me. Thank you very much for reading!)

Hey guys! This is my first time writing a story, so I am sorry for the long paragraphs and stuffs.

As this is my first time, please do not expect something amazinggg.

My MC seems a bit too mature for his age, and I get it. I'll change him (Albeit a little) in the upcoming future chapters.

And I am not confident with how I'll take this story with the things I had in mind when I thought of this.

So just think of this as a debut for a writer who writes for fun and haven't learned any formal writing lessons.

Once again, please do not expect a great story, good character development, a steady level/power system, magic theories, and stuffs.
