The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

There were times when balls came flying towards his face yet he had leaned forward to pick up something off the ground causing the ball to miss him.

Many strange events took place and there were even times when he was hit flying by an attack that should have left him greatly injured or even dead yet he had taken the hit in a way that reduced the impact sending him flying back.

The flight itself was just as dangerous yet he seemed to always land in a way that was easy to recover from or landed on somewhere that cushioned his landing better.

Abilities and some physiques were not as simple as they were in the past.

If Life Energy played a major role towards the creation of Spirits and Evil Spirit, it played a major role towards the development of a Balancer too.
