The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Her light blue eyes narrowed a little as she looked towards the door where there was the house number big and clear enough for her to read from where she was.

Ash started to begin memorising it before moving on so that she would not stick around outside for too long. '64… 64.. 64…'

Her head was turning towards the end of the street and other sections of the street where there could be street signs with the street name.

She finally found one which caused her light blue eyes to shine a little as she continued to go over it again and again in her head. '64 Orange Avenue… 64 Orange Avenue… 64 Orange Avenue…'

Since she had obtained the address, there was nothing much else that she could do.

If there were any other options available then they were definitely more invasive and much less legal.
