Must Be Done

Ash had done her best to check in on the back yard before starting out with her new routine and she was not able to see any signs of there being anything disturbed.

It helped her to be more at ease before she continued onward with what she was doing.

If she happened to miss anything crucial that could have pointed towards someone already being there before her then she would have continued to do everything as she planned with no idea that she had missed her chance.

She would be completely clueless to what had already happened and would waste even more time sticking around to monitor the area with the hope that she ran into someone.

If there were any changes to the back yard she saw, the mother had heeded her advice somewhat and made quick work of having the locks on the gate lowered further out of reach from the outside.
