New Transformation

Ash kept going over and questioning what she had done.

It was like she was trying to tell herself that she had done good and that there was no longer any room for regrets over what she had done.

It did not matter whether it was to satisfy some kind of grudge of the dead or to serve some kind of justice.

It did not matter if it simply served as a lesson or a preparation for what was to come.

It did not matter if it was to receive some kind of gain in power or money.

She could have found another way to handle it yet she still chose to go through with it all in the end.

There was no longer room for regrets or doubts.

The world she was living in was not some fairy tale where she could survive on luck and goodwill alone.

The odds were already greatly stacked against her even when she had access to knowledge nobody else knew about.
