The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Breaker: From A Nobody To A Villainess

She was uncertain about some things like if her black bandage Evil Spirit was truly ready to go up against other Spirits of its current grade.

If it kept continuing as it was, it would never be able to increase its grade and experience anytime soon.

The longer the time delayed, the higher the chances of it becoming useless enough that it would no longer be of help to her in the future.

Ash was not certain how fast her growth was compared to the black bandage Evil Spirit but she was painfully aware of how she could increase her Life Energy similarly.

The biggest difference was how Ash had the option to use other humans or Balancers as a means of increasing her Life Energy capacity and her grade as a Balance Breaker or as a Balancer.

Usually, a Balancer would be graded by what grade of Spirit they could handle alone or with minor support from outsiders so the amount of Life Energy they had did not always factor into what grade they would be awarded.

Grades
