The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Breaker: From A Nobody To A Villainess

Ash kept moving through the busy streets after leaving the safety and comfort of her new home.

The conditions she was currently living in were not the best and some things could still be improved but they were good enough to make her be able to use it.

She was not falling sick or was experiencing any major problems with how it currently was so she could not complain too much about it.

It was already enough that it was a good place for her to hide away from the eyes of others.

If she made any more major modifications or spent any more money beyond getting the bare essentials sorted then they could all end up going to waste later.

Ash was primarily focused on getting anything done that needed to be addressed for safety or health reasons while leaving any smaller less important things aside like luxuries that could be lived without.
