The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Breaker: From A Nobody To A Villainess

There was a limit to how much money could be made while each of the things she might need in the future would be even more expensive to get her hands on or to be able to have something done.

It was no wonder that people on the run from the police usually ended up burning through most of their funds so quickly since there were so many things that would have to be covered using money rather than using the usual legal processes.

They would have to resort to using bribes and paying a large amount of funds that they had on them toward transportation and a room to stay in during the nights along with a long list of other things that could keep them on the move or get them out of the city or country.

Ash was not yet in that poor of a condition that she needed to go on the run but it was unknown if there would be a day in the future when she would have to leave her current life behind and disappear like she did before.

Separate Worlds
