Tell Me A Story.

Tell me a story,

I started.

There was a girl before me,

she dance to the train's screech.

Which lover bit his tongue,

and missed French kisses?

I don't sit by the window

to count shadows the day collected.

If I heard the dead,

know I was asleep.

Today's story isn't yet written,

I'd have to greet the day first.

There was a boy before me,

he tripped on his laces.

Which minister taught my faith,

when trees choose their seasons?

I've never traveled a gravel road,

nobody ever bought me shoes.

If I speak to the dead,

put me in front a mirror.

I want to capture a story,

my left hand leads from the right.

There's a he I'm chasing,

following love, a circus game.

Which person forgot their past?

So many tokens kept...

If I seek the dead,

toss me into a river.

Tell me a story,

I've began a script.
