Chapter 4: Flashback, The Unveiling of Power

The battlefield was unlike anything most could imagine, a space between realms where destruction was the only constant. The ground had been shattered, the air crackling with untamed energy. Alex and his father, Shiva, stood face-to-face, their auras radiating immense power. But there was a difference. Shiva, the God of Destruction, was a force of nature, his golden aura seething with annihilation. Alex, however, was calm, his green aura swirling steadily around him.

For years, Alex had trained under Shiva, learning to master the powers of a Legendary Saiyan, a Frost Demon, and the destructive force of Beerus. But today wasn't just another training session. Today was a true test of strength.

"You've held back your true power all these years," Shiva said, his voice a rumble of thunder. His golden eyes locked onto Alex, a flicker of pride mixed with curiosity. "You think you're ready to challenge me? To stand as my equal?"

Alex smirked, his arms hanging loosely at his sides. "Not as your equal. As your better."

Shiva raised an eyebrow, intrigued but unfazed. "Big words. But strength alone won't win this fight."

Alex's smile widened. "I haven't been using my strength, not really."

Shiva's eyes narrowed, but before he could respond, Alex's aura flared. The ground beneath his feet crumbled as his base power surged, rippling through the battlefield. His muscles tensed, his eyes gleaming with a fierce determination. For the first time, Alex wasn't going to hold back—not even in his base form.

"This is thirty percent," Alex said, his voice calm and measured.

Shiva's expression changed, a mix of surprise and curiosity. "Thirty percent?"

Without warning, Alex vanished, his speed incomprehensible. In a flash, he appeared before Shiva, his fist already moving. The punch connected with Shiva's chest, sending him flying across the battlefield, crashing into the remains of a distant mountain. The force of the impact shattered the landscape, ripping apart the very fabric of the void.

Shiva recovered quickly, launching himself into the air. His golden aura burned brighter than ever as he unleashed his full power, waves of destructive energy cascading from his body.

"You've gotten stronger," Shiva acknowledged as he wiped a trail of blood from the corner of his mouth. His golden eyes glinted with a mix of respect and challenge. "But I'm far from done."

In response, Shiva gathered his destructive energy, his hands glowing with the power to obliterate anything in his path. He hurled a Destruction Sphere the size of a planet toward Alex, the golden energy swirling with the intent to erase.

Alex watched the attack calmly, his green aura flaring around him. His power rippled through the air as he raised his hand, catching the massive sphere with ease. The force of the attack barely fazed him as he crushed it in his palm, the energy dissipating harmlessly into the void.

Shiva's eyes widened. "You're using only thirty percent of your base form… and you can still do that?"

Alex smirked, his gaze never wavering. "I told you. I'm not holding back anymore. You wanted to see my power, so here it is."

Shiva roared, his aura exploding outward in a violent wave of energy. The ground beneath him disintegrated, and the sky above them cracked under the pressure of his full power. But Alex remained steady, his green aura blazing against the destructive force.

With a burst of speed, Alex closed the distance between them, his movements too fast for even Shiva to track. He delivered a devastating blow to Shiva's midsection, sending the God of Destruction crashing to the ground. The impact created a crater miles wide, the sheer force of the strike shaking the entire realm.

Shiva groaned, struggling to stand. His body was battered and bruised, but his pride kept him on his feet. He charged forward with a roar, launching a series of rapid, powerful strikes at Alex. But Alex deflected each one effortlessly, his movements fluid and precise.

"You can't win this, Father," Alex said, his voice calm but firm. "Not anymore."

With one final push, Shiva unleashed his most powerful attack—a concentrated blast of destruction that tore through space itself. The energy was immense, enough to wipe out entire universes.

But Alex stood firm. With a flick of his wrist, he redirected the blast, sending it hurtling into the void where it exploded in a blinding flash of light. The shockwave rippled through the battlefield, but Alex didn't flinch.

Shiva's golden eyes flickered with disbelief. His strongest attack… deflected with ease. And Alex was only using thirty percent of his base power.

Before Shiva could react, Alex moved again, appearing directly in front of him. With a powerful punch, Alex drove his fist into Shiva's chest, the force of the blow shattering the ground beneath them. Shiva gasped, his body crumpling under the weight of the attack. He was sent flying backward, crashing into the remnants of the battlefield with enough force to crack the very foundations of the dimension.

For a long moment, there was silence. The air was still, the battlefield in ruins. Slowly, Shiva pushed himself up, his body battered, but still defiant. He looked at Alex, his eyes filled with a strange mix of pride and resignation.

"You… really have surpassed me," Shiva said, his voice quiet but filled with awe. "With only thirty percent of your power… you defeated me."

Alex's green aura flickered around him as he walked toward his father, his expression calm but serious. "I learned from the best."

Shiva smiled—a rare, genuine smile. "You've earned it, Alex. You've become the strongest being under Great Red and Ophis."

Present Day

The flashback faded as Alex stood once again atop the mountain, his thoughts drifting back to the present. That fight with his father had been a turning point, the moment he had proven himself as more than just Shiva's son.

Grayfia's voice broke through his thoughts. "You've come a long way since then."

Alex nodded, his eyes hardening as he looked out at the horizon. "But this is just the beginning."
