Elizabeth has lived her whole life under ostracization, bullying, and all sorts of painful realities that a high school girl like her can only hope to avoid. It was all due to her ability to be able to see invisible beings that was also known as ghosts.

However, it was that same ability that helped her meet the most popular boy in her school year, Nico, who came to ask her about ghost hunting. That meeting ended up becoming the start of a new chapter for Elizabeth. A chapter filled with drama, hatred, hope, as well as happiness.

From hunting demons together, Elizabeth grew closer with Nico as the two lived their high school life. Conflicts, jealousy, and confessions stood in their way of being together. Despite all those things, everything will only become much more difficult for them in the future.

It may even require challenging the world.

I Can See Ghosts

I slashed its body for sure, which completely startled the demon and made it jump backwards. I was able to create a long slash mark on its stomach, which should've been very lethal for the demon. But, unlike the rock demon, this one is made of liquid. Mercury liquid.


It can literally… close that slash wound almost instantly.


Seeing my attempt at hurting the demon, the demon owner laughed so loudly.


"I like that attempt!! But, please! Use your head!! You think you can cut liquid with a sword???"


I mean.…those fingers don't look like water…


Wait… How come the fingers can turn so hard like a legitimate metal?


If this thing is completely made with a Mercury, then how come the fingers can turn into blades? Does it… harden?


I'm feeling like I'm close to the key answer to the demon's weakness, but I just don't know what it really was. And to find that answer, I will need to remember another bit of memory from last week. How did the Mercury demon from last week die?
