Elizabeth has lived her whole life under ostracization, bullying, and all sorts of painful realities that a high school girl like her can only hope to avoid. It was all due to her ability to be able to see invisible beings that was also known as ghosts.

However, it was that same ability that helped her meet the most popular boy in her school year, Nico, who came to ask her about ghost hunting. That meeting ended up becoming the start of a new chapter for Elizabeth. A chapter filled with drama, hatred, hope, as well as happiness.

From hunting demons together, Elizabeth grew closer with Nico as the two lived their high school life. Conflicts, jealousy, and confessions stood in their way of being together. Despite all those things, everything will only become much more difficult for them in the future.

It may even require challenging the world.

I Can See Ghosts

After school ended, I met up with Nico again by the school gate.


Earlier at lunch break, he mentioned that there will be a surprise for me for later after school ends. Hearing that there will be a surprise, of course I became excited. For the rest of the day, I was just so excited about what Nico is keeping from me that I just don't pay attention to the lessons at all.


He's not going to take me somewhere, is he? I am a little tired from the events this morning, after all. Hopefully Nico knows that.


I saw him at the school gate, and I quickly walked faster to him. I arrived and was immediately greeted by his warm smile.


I asked Nico, but he only lifted his hand at me, as if wanting to take my hand. I awkwardly lifted my hand and grabbed his, and Nico's grin turned wider.


"I'm going to walk you home from now on!"
