Chapter-4 Turbulence before the date

Just as Meng Yue and Zhao Feng were about to enter the Royce, they both were stopped by a voice from behind, instinctively, they turned back to look. There was an overly fat man standing looking at them with a distorted face.

The man started walking toward them while staring at Meng Yue. Zhao Feng raised an eyebrow while looking at the man's chest, which kept bouncing with every step.

'My eyes!' Feng could not handle anymore of the monstrosity walking towards them, so he turned his head toward Changming, looking at her figure to counter whatever he saw before.

' That's better.' Finally, he could find his eyes soothing from the view.

"Meng Yue, why are you leaving your shift in the middle? Don't you care about the job anymore?" The man shouted while spitting some of his saliva out of his mouth.

"Hey fatty, who are you?" This was the first time she had seen this guy, and maybe even if she had seen him before, her mind refused to remember the monster standing in front of her.

"Fatty?" The man opened his eyes wide, which were covered in his loose fat, not believing what he had heard.

Hubby, let's go, we are getting late." After confirming that she didn't remember him, she decided to ignore him. She hugged Feng's right hand and moved toward the royce.

"You bitch!" The man's face turned completely ugly, he didn't expect a lowly nurse would dare to ignore him.

Meng Yue paused, then turned around, looking at the fatty in the eyes.

"You are dead. Fatty. " She was completely pissed; in her young life, she had only loved one man, who was standing right beside her, and now someone has dared to call her immoral in front of her 'husband'. If she didn't rip that fatty's mouth open, she didn't have any right to call herself his wife.

[A/N: Lesson 1, if any random person dared to call your girl anything improper, don't stop til you rip his mouth( at minimum a full power punch straight to the face) or you might be having a break up in the future, so don't say I didn't warn you.]

" Hah! Do you dare! " The man said it with a smug face.

" I'm Peng Song, the director of the Pangde Hospital." He revealed his identity, expecting Meng Yue to panic and beg for her job.

' I'll first have a taste of you, then I'll fire you.' Through the fatty, looking at Meng Yue's figure, licking his lips in a lustful manner. He already planned some horrendous things for her, only waiting for her to start begging.

Meng Yue stopped for a second, looking at the fatty for a second, then she closed her right hand into a fist, then she swung it with full power toward his face.

Crack*

Everyone heard a clear crack, which was a sign of his broken nose.

" Aaaah!! YOU BITCH!!! I'll Kill-"

" AAH!! Bitch I'm telling you st-"

" AAH!! I'm Telli-"

" AAH!! I'm- "

" AAH!! Ple-"

" AAAh!!! "

After a few more punches, Meng Yue finally stopped. She gave a last glance at the fatty, who was laying on the ground with a broken nose, eyes swollen with blood all over his face.

She readjusted her dress, then went back to Feng's side. She looked at him with the expression ' praise me' all over her face.

"You did great.'' He brought her right hand over his face, giving it a light kiss.

'She was damn cool.' He can't deny that seeing her beat the crap out of the fatty was one of a kind experience for him; if he hadn't seen with his own eyes, he wouldn't believe that she could be so formidable.

Hubby, let's go." She pulled him into the royce with a smile on her face.

After the trio were finally gone, the man finally sighed in relief. He stood up and gently caressed his unrecognisable face.

"You bitch! Just wait, I'll have you beg under me." Peng had decided that he would fire that whore and revoke her licence.

He went inside the hospital, directly to the receptionist.

" Bring me the details of Meng Yue."

The receptionist was a young girl with blond hair. She was adjusting to her new job when suddenly a man with an unrecognisable face asked her about a random woman.

"Who are you?" She asked while having one hand on the emergency button

" You!!! Bitch!!! " He moved forward, grabbing her by her collar.

"Help!!! " At first, she pressed the button, but as he grabbed her collar, she panicked crying for help but no doctor or nurse bothered to help her.

" Bitch! I'm the director of this fucking hospital let me see who'll help you." He had made up his mind to enjoy her today.

"ARGH!!"

The girl cried in pain as he grabbed her by her hair, and dragged her to the nearest room. Whether he was extremely lucky that there were no incoming patients or it was her unlucky day for getting caught up on her first day.

As Song moved a little towards the nearest room. Two burly men appeared out of nowhere, one was black while the other was white. They both were wearing a black suit, black sunglasses with earpieces while standing in front of him, blocking the way towards the room.

" Peng Song, you are coming with us," said the black guy, grabbing him while the white one freed the lady.

" Stop!! Do you know it's illegal? I'll have you arrested. I know the chief! I'm telling you! Release me!!" He tried to escape the man's grip, but he didn't even flinch. Mind you, this fatty was at least 189 kg (416 lbs).

" Why!! Why are you harassing a normal citizen?" He never expected that an awakened would come after him, as there was a law passed after the change of world that no awakened was given the right to harass a normal citizen.

" Hahahahaha~ who knows we are just following orders." said the white male, attaching a tape to his mouth.

[A/N: finally! someone closed his mouth.]

Then, in the next second, they both disappeared with Song, leaving the woman in the daze.

While on the other side of the city,

A Royce stopped in front of a towering building, then an attendant rushed in to open the door. A woman with brunette hair walked out, she was wearing a ruched pencil dress with matching black heels, she was none other than Meng Yue.

Next was Zhao Feng, who came out wearing a simple white t- shirt and black jeans with matching sneakers.

"Hey Yue, why is it this tall?" The building that they were standing below was at least 80 stories tall, becoming the center of attraction for the area.

"They are also a hotel." Just as Meng Yue was about to answer, Changming already explained.

"But, why do you want to go to the awakened centre?" She was a little curious about his reason, as it was the first place he decided to go after leaving the hospital.

"Hmm, they have something that I want." Zhao Feng gave a simple answer as to why… because she would find out when they will reach the store.

'Something he wants.' She narrowed her eyes, her instincts were telling her that he was hiding something interesting.

" Hubby, let's go. I'll show you around." She hugged his right arm, dragging him into the building..

As the trio entered the building, there were constantly people coming and leaving from the other side of the building, instead Feng's attention was drawn to the qualitative change in 'ki'.

" It always feels fresh inside," Yue took some deep breaths, enjoying all the fresh air without an ounce of impurity.

" hubby, why don't we also encrypt our future home with mana enhancement "

" Ok." he was getting the hang of his new role.

" So hubby, do you wanna visit the museum or go to the cinema?"

" Lets go to….."

In a dark room an obese man with multiple wounds on his face was bound to a chair without any clothing. He had an horrified expression, as he looked at the two burly men standing in front of him.

" You still haven't given all the powerstone in your account," said the white guy in a cold tone.

"Please!!! I really don't have any more. Please!! Let me live.."

" Why should I believe you?" The man looked at him with an expression 'Am I an Idiot to you'

"Please!!! I'm telling the truth Please! Let me live." He literally started crying, begging for his life.

" John, you can start." The white guy ignored his plea, and gave order to his partner.

John walked toward the fatty with a choke pear in his hand.

"Please!!!! NO!! ! Don't Come Close!! NO!! Please!!! NO!! AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! "

That was the last time the obese man was seen.
