The Unthinkable
I still can't believe I'm now friends with Luna. I don't know how I settled this so quickly. I bet it's because I'm devastated over only having Lucas as my friend. I'm just glad we're friends now. Let's just hope Lucas won't always want to flirt with her in front of me because that's what I hate the most and the majority of the reason why I disliked Luna in the first place.
Today Lucas is supposed to go to a convention with dad but I can't go along. So I'm hoping I can maybe spend the day with Luna. If Lucas agrees to call her, I can ask. There's no way I'm putting up with grandma more than once a week.
I decided to run up and go ahead and find out if I could spend the day with Luna.
"Lucas." I said knocking on his room
"What do you want?" he asked me
"Hey, can you call Luna up?" I asked
"Why?" he asked
"Just hand me your phone." I ordered
"Fine, but help me tie this tie real quick. I need to look good for today. I don't want to let dad down." he said
I tied his tie and he handed me his phone.
"So what are you up to? Are you trying to meddle in my love life again? I thought you were getting along with Luna now." he said
"Just give me a couple of minutes and I'll explain." I said
I went downstairs in the living room and called Luna up.
"Hey Lucas." she said cheerfully
"Hi Luna, but it's me Bella." I said
"Oh hi Bella it's nice of you to call me." she said
"I was wondering if you're busy today." I said waiting for her answer
"No, I'm not busy at all. Why?" she asked
"Okay, well I want to hang out with you today but only if you want to." I said
"That sounds great." she said
"Good, get ready, I'll be there soon." I said
"Okay bye Bella." she said
I ran back upstairs and told Lucas that I was going to spend the day with Luna while he and dad went to the convention.
"Okay that sounds like a really good idea." he said
"I knew you would like it. Now come on, drive me over to Luna's so we can pick her up." I said
"I don't have time neither does dad so don't bother asking him." he said
"Oh I know I'll ask Lily if she'll take me. You're not taking the limo right?" I asked
"No, we would get too many looks Bella. Sure I'll just let dad know you're taking the limo so he doesn't freak out when he sees it's missing." he said
I went to the kitchen and right on time Lily was waiting for me.
"What would you like for breakfast Bella?" she asked me
"There's no time for breakfast right now. I need you to drive me in the limo. I need to pick up a friend. Oh and don't worry daddy doesn't have a problem with us borrowing it." I said
"Okay, I'll just need the address." she said
I went back upstairs and bothered Lucas for Luna's address. He gave it to me and Lily put it in the gps and we headed off. I wonder what Luna's going to think when she sees what we're driving, definitely an upgrade to Lucas' vehicle.
