It’s Snow Time!

I'm so excited Sasha dropped me off and introduced me to a fantastic ski instructor, Jone. She told me she wanted me to meet one of her cousin's but he hadn't shown up. I didn't really mind since Jone was nice.

"Here I got you some coffee. It'll help warm you up while I explain to you how to properly ski." Jone said

"Much appreciated." I said warming my hands with the heat of the coffee.

"It's very important that you stay out of other people's way at all times." he said

I nodded and he continued.

"Don't feel that you have to stay up with the others skiing, everyone goes their own pace meaning it's not a race." he said clearly

After Jone explained a couple more things to me I was able to learn how to properly put on skis. It wasn't as fun as I imagined it would be. I just can't wait till I can get out there and ski.

"A plus." he apprised me

"Thanks." I mumbled

"Now it's time for you to go out there." he said

"What?!? Already?" I was starting to panic.

"You need to see for yourself how it is and don't worry I'm starting you out simple. You're going to start on a bunny hill. It's the baby hill for beginners." he said

"So I'll be surrounded by people who aren't the best at skiing either?" I asked

"Exactly." he said

"I'll go down first in case you need help stopping when you reach the bottom." he said

"Oh, but you need to teach me how to stop correctly." I said

"Okay so you're going to bend the front of your shoes while keeping your back straight the entire time then bring the tip of your skis closer together while spreading your heels." he said

"Alright, I'm ready, Jone." I said

We walked down towards the bunny hill. As we got closer I saw people falling and having all sorts of trouble.

"Ehh… I don't know about this." I said

"Don't tell me your having second thoughts." he said

"Well, I am." I said

"Don't worry you're meant to have trouble when you first start out plus this is the safest way to go trust me." he said

I nodded and decided to cut him some slack. He was a professional afterall.

"You're right." I said

He smiled.

He went down the hill so elegantly. He totally blew all of these people out of the snow. I frowned when he finished he motioned me to come join him at the bottom. I gulped and said a little prayer. I didn't want to embarrass myself.
