Start Taking Notes

We just finished and we were on our way back home or so I thought.

"Dad, this isn't the way back home." I said

"You really think I don't know that." he said laughing

"Okay,so we're are we headed to then?" I asked

I knew my dad was up to something.

"Son, there comes a time in every man's life when he needs his father to show him the ropes. I should have probably showed you years ago but you didn't seem crazy about girls so I let it go for awhile." he said

"That's because I was worried about school and grades." I said hastily

"I know, but where I'm going with this is I'm going to help you win over that girl's heart. Bella seems to like this girl too which means a lot." he replied

"So where are we going?" I asked

"I'm taking you to the perfect place it has everything you need to ask her out." he said

"Sounds good." I commented

In about twenty minutes we were at the shop. I looked at the label, it's called Over the Moon. This should be good.

As if my dad was reading my mind he began to talk. "Now don't think anything yet just because it has a cheesy name. Alright?" he spoke

"Fine." I said as we walked in

He took me over to a section where they had the best roses I've ever seen. The roses were in the shape of hearts and in all different tones.

"Dang." I said

"Pick out some flowers son." he said

I picked out some small blue and yellow roses. Then dad walked me over to get some chocolates and perfume. Before we could leave he made me pick out something for Bella as well so she wasn't left out. I went along with it and picked out a bracelet.

"Thanks Dad." I said grinning

This has been a long time since I got to hang out with dad this long. Today was going to be the best day I've had since I don't know when. Just fingers crossed Luna says yes.
