Night-Love City (1)

"This is absolutely a crime against humanity. I see this in the ring. But you must have seen it in the original place. You did a good thing bringing them out of hell. Even after death they should be given the chance to bask in the sun." The City Lord said, after calming down.

The room was in quite the mess after that display of anger. Though compared to my fury it still felt a bit weak. Perhaps that was the limit he could do without the support of a Dragon's bloodline. Either way I was glad I finished my tea beforehand otherwise it would have been 'Tea Abuse'. Not something I would want to commit. Tea is for drinking, not spilling.

"Husband, what exactly was in that ring?" The City Lord's wife asked, albeit reluctantly. However, she held a position where she should know the severity of it. Once she took a look she dropped the ring and left the room, holding back the urge to vomit.

"If it's that bad I am also reluctant to see this image. Perhaps it would be best for…" The Vice City Lord started as he picked up the ring and paused.

"No, there is a reason why the guest Young Master didn't say it. Rather, it's not that he didn't want to tell us. But because he can not bring himself to say these things. You'll naturally know the reason once you check for yourselves. Though the madam should be prepared for a similar reaction." The City Lord said, sitting back down feeling helpless and defeated. After all, this tragedy occurred over the course of his own leadership over the city.

"Those 'Evil Shadow Sect' people deserve a torturous death. Forgive me for asking the Young Master to detail this for this Vice-City Lord. I doubt you'd even detail it for the Master of the Void Temple." The Vice City Lord said full of anger and discomfort, handing the ring to his wife. "Dearest wife, there is absolutely nothing anyone could possibly say to prepare someone for this kind of sight. I can only hope this prepares you enough. Don't feel ashamed if you need to go join senior Sister." He added, in an attempt to warn her.

Shortly after checking the ring she left the room too crying and feeling sick. I could only sit there helplessly. It was because of a massive oversight on their part that this kind of thing went on. However, it wasn't really their fault. The Evil Shadow Sect was crafty. They knew they were evil to the core. Thus did everything to hide their tracks. Even I thought this was a bit much for my father to allow, though that thought left after a moment. I don't know enough about the Open heaven realm. So harboring these feelings are likely my own lack of understanding. Perhaps my father does wish to end it but is just using the situation to help training Disciples to fight the ink clan.

"Thank you for not forcing this young master to explain any further. It was not a sight I had been prepared to see at first either. In fact it is the very reason I advanced to the 2nd Order Saint realm. So I'm sure you can imagine how furious I was with that sight." I said.

"With numbers like this how did they keep such places open?" The City Lord asked.

"Simple, they have been operating for quite a long time. Likely before this world was called Void World." I said, hinting at the age of this 'Evil Shadow Sect'.

"That long! No wonder the situation is so treacherous. I'll make sure to make a formal report about the events when our overseer arrives from Golden Soup Sect." The City Lord said, sitting back up recovering his composure.

"Good, that is for the best. Have them send at least 2 emperor realms to each of their Cities. It will make it far easier to regain proper control over the area. This is not a mission any one sect could pull off on their own. Even 'Seven Stars Workshop' wouldn't be able to pull it off on their own." I said. "Oh! One more thing, it seems like every Cultivator in the 'Evil Shadow Sect' is pathetically weak compared to their actual realms. Though they possess a powerful skill they can use to kill those above them. It is likely because of this ability that causes them to be weaker. Everything has a price after all. Very few people could be called a genius and thus avoid this painful reality." I said.

"I see, so how weak are they?" The Vice City Lord asked curiously.

"I would have to say it depends. However I was able to kill 3 3rd Order Origin Kings without my full strength. Though fighting me in an enclosed space would probably be a death sentence to anyone below the Origin King Realm. I simply move far too fast with a great deal of control. So they are definitely around a full realm weaker at least once they reach the 3rd order origin King." I said, after some thought.

"You killed 3 3rd Orders!" The Vice-City Lord said in shock.

"Indeed, though they were pathetically weak compared to even an average origin king of the same order. I am also told that I am just freakishly strong. However, I hope you take this as my own experience and understand others might not have as easy of a time." I explained.

"This is true. Their members could have some secret techniques that make them far stronger than the average emperor. This is why 2 emperors should be sent. I see. The Young Master is indeed a worthy Young master." The City Lord said.

The Two women came back after having freshened up. They each sat down in their husbands laps. Right now I could see that they were indeed experiencing some… emotions.

"Now then let's get away from that topic and start discussing the reward we should give to the Young Master. After all, it is because of him that we were able to thwart that traitors plot. We can now call the city its original name again. Night-Love City!" The City Lord's Wife said, winking at her husband before whispering something into his ear and they smiled.

"Agreed, this Young man has saved our husbands lives and our livelihoods. Rewarding him for these good deeds is only right." The Vice-City Lord's wife said, with a smile.
