Visiting Spirit Peak (1)

I stood there for a moment enjoying the breeze. Some would think it's weird, but all of them would be fools. Anyone who practices any Dao even remotely related to Thunder and Lightning would be able to say the same.

"Young Master, are you stalling because your grandmother is actually scary?" Fang Qing asked, as she stretched herself from a long nap within my knowledge sea.

"It's not so much that she is scary. Just that it can be difficult to get her to listen. It's not like she can't understand things… Those kinds of people are the worst." I chuckled.

"Hmm… And I see you've already come up with an idea then? That is going to be quite an exhausting measure to pull off." Fang Qing giggled with a nervously twitching smile.

"Indeed… Unfortunately I'm limited to what has happened, within Star Boundary… Though… I wonder… The Demon Realm is connected quite closely now… Perhaps… It might be possible. Let's do a quick test…" I said, taking off heading towards my grandparents home.

"Heh, seems like it will work… Though it won't work for long." Fang Qing said with a half surprised chuckle and sigh.

"And I even got confirmation that I'll have help from that end. This will be quite the feat…" I smirked, making a thunderous streak across the sky. "You know, flying this way has its own charm. It's been awhile since I could enjoy this." I smiled, as the wind flowed through my hair.

"It does indeed feel good. Though, I've never flown at the speeds you do. But even in life as an Origin King it was amazing." Fang Qing said, trying to get the most out of a full connection.

"Well, it's about that time. We are nearly there. Let's hope this all goes well." I chuckled nervously.

Fang Qing nodded in agreement and then went back to cultivating her strength. She was the reason why I was taking my refinement slower than I normally would. She is excellent for being able to keep up with me even if she is a bit behind, it won't be long before I won't have to worry about refining the Earth Element.

~ Spirit Peak ~

I floated down and then bowed deeply before actually landing. One doesn't visit their grandparents without showing respect. Even more so when said grandparents have been integral parts of getting a ton of the marriage heat off of you. Doing so by putting a ton of pressure on their son to have children. Which indirectly takes away many of the offers. Even if it won't be immediate, it will eventually come to be helpful.

Yang Ying Feng came outside looking utterly exhausted and drained. It was clear that whatever was going on wasn't all too easy to bear. And he wasn't the one being scolded. So my grandfather's look was beyond telling, that what was happening inside was nothing short of serious. Though it also seems to say, save me. Then he saw me and his expression grew more relaxed and his complexion seemed to become brighter.

"Ah, if it isn't my grandson, Leiji. Thank you for coming. You're a sight for sore eyes." Yang Ying Feng said, all but crying at the relief.

I hugged him as one would do. "Is it really that bad inside?" I asked.

"YING FENG! GET BACK HERE AND HELP YELL AT THESE TWO!" Dong Su Zhu screamed furiously.

It was so loud I could have sworn the house had flexed in a near cartoonish way… I felt Feng Qing gulp, inside my Knowledge Sea. And Shandain had dropped her popcorn everywhere, now holding onto Fang Qing, both shaking in terror at the anger inside that voice.

"Young Master… Are you sure your grandmother isn't scary? Cause we're terrified." Fang Qing muttered in a shaky voice.

"I see… Then it's really not so great there is it?" I chuckled with a wry smile.

"It's been going on like this for what feels like years. It may not even be a day yet… But… Seeing it is easier to grasp the full situation. And you did come here to see if you could help, right?" Yang Ying Feng said, patting my shoulder with a slightly nervous shake.

"I came here to help. But grandfather, you need not ask me to help. I only need to know the situation. Have you given grandmother her favorite calming tea?" I chuckled, trying to put Yang Ying Feng at ease.

"I've prepared all of her favorites. But it hasn't calmed her down enough yet. It does seem to tide her over for a little while though. Well not really, it just turns down her yelling…" Yang Ying Feng sighed. "And it seems the last jar's worth of tea's effects have worn off. She really is quite upset they went and had a baby together. They didn't even ask to be wed yet." He added.

"Then I'll bring her a special brew from my small realm. And I'll deliver it to her. That should have a compounding effect." I said. "Now, how do you feel about them?" I asked, as we slowly walked inside.

"I don't have a problem with them being together. Neither of us do. But going so far as to get pregnant just like that. It is a bit annoying that they didn't even come to get acknowledgement from us before sharing their love. Even so, I would still give my blessing even now. Having another grandchild is always something we desire." Yang Ying Feng answered.

"I see, that is an excellent view, grandfather. And since that's the case, if they were given permission in the past. That should solve a lot of the problems Grandmother has as well, correct?" I asked, rubbing my chin.

"Indeed it should. Why do you ask?" Yang Ying Feng asked, curiously raising a brow.

"Oh, that's a secret. And one I'd like you to keep as best you can after seeing it." I chuckled, with a happy smile.

"Oh, Uh… If it's a request like that from you I can't help but agree with that adorable look." Yang Ying Feng said, as his heart basically melted in grandparental feelings.

"Then, let's get this under control." I said, and suddenly a tray was floating in the air in front of me. Several sets of cups and coasters with a large pot of steaming and fragrant tea. Then I walked into the room where the yelling was coming from.
