With the surge of power radiating from my position, it was clear that no one should make their way towards my location. That is, unless it was absolutely necessary, even so, there were a few guests that came by to feel the lightning. Not many of them were from Star Boundary or Void Land but, rather, they were mostly the Supreme Elders getting sidetracked on their quest to return home.

Even with their immense strength, the strength of the 8th rank open heaven realm, they dared not get any closer than they already were. To be quite honest, they were seriously pushing it as it currently stood.

"I wish I could get a better view of what he was doing to cause such fluctuations. Each one is so powerful yet, none of these fluctuations are causing the surrounding universe worlds any trouble. Just a peak, a quick one." One of the Supreme Elders muttered, slowly advancing towards my location, he didn't get very far before someone else grabbed his shoulder.

"I don't think that's a great idea." The other open heaven said. "Apologies Supreme Elder but, it would be incredibly rude of us to intrude any further into his practice grounds." The Elder said, bowing slightly as he tried to convince his Supreme Elder.

"Hmm, I suppose you're right. It's not like it's dangerous inside there, and you're worried about me." The Supreme Elder chuckled with a high hearted sigh, turning around to leave, but not before taking another look back. And he stopped in his tracks as he witnessed the first visible expression of power I had shown outsiders during my seclusion, that is, at least this portion of it anyways. "Oh my, Yang Leiji, I can't wait to see what you'll become once you break through. I'm sure it will be earth shattering and heaven defying…" The Supreme Elder spoke aloud, then turned to face the Elder near him. "This war may soon be over. Soon… The war will end." He continued, willfully making his way away.

In a room meant for Yang Kai to receive reports, his disciples appeared and bowed, showing their respect to their master. And then Xu Yi explained what happened in detail.

"I see, I knew he was having some difficulty. But it seems that this isn't something he can resolve on his own." Su Yan, sitting in a clearly comfortable chair, spoke up in a slightly worried tone. "I should have been there… I've spent a fair amount of time with the Phoenix Clan. And I know how they treat the men of their clan. You're certain no one said anything would make it harder to navigate such a situation…" She continued, rubbing her large belly and seemingly muttering something to herself.

"About that… Senior Sister Zhao Ya may have said something about it being an honor to receive respect from someone like that…" Xu Yi answered nervously.

Yang Kai shot a glance at Zhao Ya, he was clearly a bit ticked, but he let it go. "I did teach you the Spear Dao. And part of that is getting straight to the point in everything you do. Perhaps I should have shown you when to fight and when not to." Yang Kai said, slightly annoyed with himself.

"Don't worry Husband, I'm sure that Leiji managed to get out of what could have happened. Oh, see… Hmm, Husband. I think you should go see Leiji. He feels conflicted about something. Or maybe he's confused or worried. Either way it's hard to tell and that's not normal for us." Su Yan said, wearing a slight frown out of concern.

"I figured this would happen sooner or later. Especially after learning of what some emperors did, stealing Leiji's baptism for themselves." Yang Kai yawned, standing up and stretched. "The three of you, practice hard. You're coming with me to the battlefield when next we go. It's the perfect place to gain experience. Perhaps Zhao Ya will understand why what she did earlier would be problematic on a much deeper level." He added, then teleported out of there.

I was sitting in the lotus position, having finished the vast majority of my first round of practice. That's when Yang Kai appeared and took a similar posture floating just in front of myself.

"Your mother is concerned about your condition. And I can tell there is something eating at you." Yang Kai said, getting straight to the point.

"Well, I've managed to refine 6 elements now, into each of my Dao Seals. I even tested how powerful all of my abilities are and where their limits are." I started answering. "But, something was off with these elements. When I refined the Earth resource… It felt like I was breaking through a great realm. The Metal element had a significantly more intense reaction as well. But the worst part is the water element doing the same thing. That leads me to worry about the wood element." I further explained.

"I see, so you're worried about the wood element, it being the final one. And thus the most intense, but the added pressure of its soothing regeneration not applying in your case. If you can't handle it, I know my ability won't help you either. It's something you'll have to…" Yang Kai calmly replied.

"It's not that, Father. Take a look around, closely. The amount of energy I've taken from this area is immense. And at the exponential rate this is going… I might need to start devouring that ink giant spirit god, early." I explained, stopping him before he wasted his breath.

It took a moment but Yang Kai managed to analyze the surrounding area. "I… I see… That's not a good thing then. Since you were going to use it for something else. Now that doesn't seem possible. You seem to be stable in your cultivation so why don't come back. Perhaps we can figure out another source of power for you to use. And while we figure that out, our sister forces are going to help us find the other columns for you. How's that sound?" He said, reaching out to my shoulder.

"Since it's too detrimental for my surroundings, to break through… I'll have to wait. And it's getting close to when my siblings arrive. We should focus on that for a little. Just don't go shoving me with all the management of the Cave Heaven." I said, with a smile and a chuckle.
