Chapter eleven(11)

Mae changed into her gym outfit which confessed of, a black leggings with pink strips by the side and a sports bra with the same design. As Mae was about to leave the female changing room and Sandra badged into the changing room with her two followers tagging behind her, Mae not knowing who she was and what she wanted thought they were there to change as well but as she was about to make her say past them, the blocked her path

     "Who are you and what do you want?" Mae asked

       "You don't need to know who we are just know that we are here to warn you to stay away from Francis, or else the fire which you play with will burn you to ashes" Sandra said and made her way out of the changing room, but paused mid way and turning the said

     "And I am and will forever be more beautiful than you, and you can never take my position as the school belle away from me" after which she left with her followers.

     Mae felt a pit in her stomach the same one she felt when she was five, when she made Junior who was nine angry and he had threatened to injure her and then she came tumbling their home stairs which gave her much injury. Mae made her way to the gym class but not without looking behind her at every interval in case someone was to push her from behind. Even during the gym class, she was uncomfortable and also at alert since she had the same gym class with Sandra and her followers, but alas the gym class came to an end while nothing unusual happened.

          After the gym, Mae went went for drama class after which she had history before it was finally school over, sitting in the school garden while waiting for her driver, Francis came to join her,

       "Why are you always here waiting for your driver he never arrived on time?" Francis asked

      "He usually gets here by Four thirty after picking up my siblings from school" Mae explained

      "Can I ask you something?" Mae asked after some minutes of silence passed

      "Sure" Francis answered

     "Who is Sandra to you?" Mae asked

     "Are you jealous?" Francis asked with a dirty smirk on his face

      "Of course not, just that she warned me to stay away from you" Mae explained

     "Which Sandra are you talking about here, there are like ten Sandras in this school" Francis asked

     "I don't know but I guess the school belle" Mae said

      "But her name isn't sandra, and you can't warn your self to stay away from me, can you"

      "What are you talking about?" A confused Mae asked

      "You didn't see this afternoon news on the school group?" Francis asked

     "What school group"

      "Oh, don't worry i'll add you just send me your number or never mind I'll tell Rachel to add you, and you are our new school belle, come on its 4:30" Francis said and pulled the shocked Mae to the school parking lot. Getting there Mae saw Junior waiting for her, taking her hand from Francis' hold she went to him and swung her arms across his neck and gave him a peck

          "You know am not a supporter of PDA Francis said jealously

      "Come on this is not PDA, Francis, meet Junior, Junior Francis"

       "Nice to meet you," Junior said stretching his hand for a hand shake, ignoring Junior and his outstretched hand Francis said to Mae

      "I guess I'll see you tomorrow then" before walking away 

       "What's up with him?" Junior asked

     "I don't know, he's a little weird sometimes, but not to worry, let's go" Mae said pulling Junior towards the car.

          The next day, during lunch everyone's phone beeps including Mae's phone, picking it up they saw that some one had uploaded a picture of Francis and Mae kissing in the restroom, while everyone were looking towards their table whispering, Gideon and Rachel looked at the duo confused and surprised, Francis kept eating his lunch as if nothing happened while Mae's head was bent over her fries in embarrassment. Suddenly Sandra walks up to their table and asked loud enough for everyone to hear.
