Chapter 32 The spy

The gunshot shattered the forest's serenity, its deafening echo reverberating through the forest.

John, was skillfully hidden amidst the lofty branches of a tall tree, exerted every effort to conceal his presence.

Patiently, he waited until he saw a glimpse of the person responsible for shooting the deer. Several tense seconds elapsed, accompanied by the faint sound of approaching footsteps.

Soon, John's keen eyes discerned the arrival of a group of five individuals.

Among them, the three wored uniforms, yet their disheveled hairstyles suggested a penchant for troublemaker or a group reminiscent of brawling students, or what some might label as thugs.

The other is a man with neatly cropped hair and an air of rugged handsomeness he wore a sunglasses, adding an enigmatic allure to his presence.
