Entering his dark dorm room Cyrus made his way to the bathroom he had been using for the last couple of weeks.
Turning on the lights and looking at himself in the mirror Cyrus could only let out a sad smile, his messy black hair and patched beard showed just how much of a mess his life was at the moment.
"Nothing changed…" was the only thing Cyrus said to himself.
Quickly taking a shower and going to his bed which was on one half of the room, and on the other side was his roommate's bed.
Looking over at his roommate's bed Cyrus noticed no one was sleeping on it at the moment.
'So much for being thoughtful' Cyrus thought as he made his way to his bed.
Laying on his bed Cyrus's thoughts swirled around his mind as all sorts of thoughts were coming and going, but only one was his true focus.
"Should I just drop out?" Cyrus said to himself.
No matter how he tried to calm down, the weight of his student loan was always behind him, whether he went to a party, a club, or even any event, he would always think about how he would be stuck paying off his student loans for the rest of his life.
As an orphan who did not receive any scholarships or aid of any sort, the loan he took was like a chain ball that slowly took him deeper into the ocean.
Even though his major was in somewhat of a demand and the potential for a good job was high, after talking to a couple of seniors and other people online and also reading some articles Cyrus was now starting to doubt it.
Apparently, some company automated 36% of what his future job would be, which halted the demand for almost all computer programming jobs, especially the low level jobs.
"In the end, it all comes down to money." Was Cyrus' last thought as he fell asleep.
BEEP...…BEEEEP
"Ughr.." Cyrus moaned as he shut off his alarm and got ready for his morning classes, a thing he thought would be easy to do.
Turns out that 8 Am high school and 8 Am college classes were too different.
Quickly fixing himself Cyrus left his dorm and entered the somewhat deserted hallways of his dorm building, the only people out were others who had signed up for morning class, and besides some everyone else had traces of regret for picking up the earliest classes.
Making his way to the cafeteria Cyrus grabbed himself some lunch which consisted of some pancakes and bacon and left for his class.
Reaching his classroom Cyrus looked at the time and found that it was only 7:20 am and his class officially started at 8 Am on the dot, with most people coming around 7:50 am.
Quickly finishing his breakfast and taking out his phone, Cyrus wanted to get in one game of his favorite MOBA game.
'What's this?' Thought Cyrus as he saw an app he didn't remember downloading.
Clicking the app a title opened and an interface appeared.

Clicking the start button app started loading.

"So it's some sort of simulator game, a little tacky, no animations and it wants me to use real money to upgrade it?" Cyrus said, a little shocked.
He had never seen such a money-hungry game besides BainGlory.
Clicking the start button, Cyrus left the app and started playing his game, it was a 5v5 Moba game that had somewhat what of a fanbase, unfortunately, the game had never passed over 900,000 downloads so the higher you went up in the rankings the more of the same people you would see.
Quickly getting into the game, Cyrus soon forgot about the weird money simulator and put all his attention into his game.
…
'THEY SOLD, IF THEY WOULD'VE JUST FOUGHT THAT 3v5 WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN THE TEAM ACE AND WON' Cyrus raged in his mind as he saw the 10x20 scoreboard.
Two of his teammates were in the jungle for some reason in the last five minutes of the game when the turrets were being attacked which cost everything because the death cool-down was scary two minutes after the game went on for 30 minutes.
Calming down Cyrus looked around his class to find it half full, with most people talking to their friends.
Sighing a little Cyrus closed his phone and opened his laptop to get a little reviewing done before the class started.
