“Mark, if you help me, I promise I will do anything for you in return. Just as long as cheating is not involved.”

“You will do anything I want?” Mark probed, his eyes glittering as he focused on her. He now seemed more interested in her promise than in whatever it was she wanted from him.

“Yes, I give you my word.”

Mark stared into her eyes and seeing how desperate she was, he leaned back into his seat and tapped his fingers on the table. “Careful what you promise, Darling, I’m not a good boy.” 

“I don’t care,” Elena replied with determination in her eyes. “I’m not a good girl either.”

The previous night while she was still denying the allegations against her, the video was played for her. Still, she did not stop denting it.

Apart from the CCTV camera that showed her trying to take Mark away, another one showed her interactions with the waiter she used to put something inside the drink.

Since there was no sound in the footage to prove what she actually said to him, she remained adamant about giving in to the police.

But one thing Michelle didn't know was this, Mark only wanted to teach her a lesson so he made it easy for her to be released If not, he would have blocked out all the exist before having her taken into police custody.

If Michelle thought she was smart, she was just joking with her bird brain.
