"What?!" Celine was astonished. She didn't like the sound of that. "Are you okay? What makes you think I like you?" she asked.

She didn't know where Elena got those guts from, but one thing she was sure of, was that she was delusional.

On the other hand, Elena did not take her outburst to mind. If she was able to remain quiet from the time she met her at the door and followed her out, what other reaction could she not handle when she was about to climb into the van?

"If you don't like me, why do you keep following me around and trying to get words out of my mouth?" Elena inquired as she let her gaze rake her appearance.

She definitely knew what she was doing, and she was not going to spell it out.

"I mean, it's not like you have enough time on your hands to follow your enemy around, right? You should have ignored them instead of acting like you are fighting for their attention."
