As Kaito slashes through the last of the monsters, I can see that he's badly wounded. The cuts on his body are deep, and he's starting to look a little pale. Saki is safe now, but we're all worse for wear.
I rush over to Kaito to assess his injuries. They're bad, but I can't let him die here. I tear off a piece of my shirt to use as a makeshift bandage, but I know it's not enough. We need to find a place to rest and heal.
"Can you stand?" I ask Kaito.
He nods weakly, but I can tell he's struggling. Saki is worried, but she's putting on a brave face.
As we emerged from the dense forest, a sight that took my breath away greeted me - a massive fortress, shrouded in mist, looming in the distance. I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease at the sight, knowing that it was the Ironclad General's stronghold.
"This must be the Ironclad Fortress," Saki said, her voice trembling slightly.
