Meeting The Parents (2)

Perseus POV

I should aim for their injured leader first, I can see his hand covering his sides, but the rest ain't letting that happen. They all charged at me at a lightning-quick pace.

I met their onslaught with my own agility and skill, weaving between their strikes. The blade of light in my hand has once again become an extension of myself as I swung it and intercept some of the attacks.

I parried their attacks with precise movements, countering with swift and decisive slashes that sent waves of radiant energy through the air.

Meanwhile, the injured captain watched from a safe distance and used his celestial magic to heal his comrades, mending their wounds and strengthening them. I had to act quickly, knowing that the support magic could turn the tide of the battle.

The group of angels saw me staring at the captain, and so, they wasted no time, their wings fluttering gracefully as they charged towards me once, with their attacks fiercer than ever.
