Old Library (2)

Perseus POV

As I wandered through the dusty aisles of the old abandoned library, my senses felt something unfamiliar every time I slightly lowered my guard. As I step deeper into the darker parts of the library, I can't shake the feeling that I'm being followed.

My senses are on high alert, and every creak of the floorboards sends a shiver down my spine. I know we're not alone here. As I continue through the dimly lit aisles, my mind races with possibilities of what or who could be trailing me. My gut tells me that whatever it is, it's not to be taken lightly.

So I lit up the halls and talked aloud that I know that someone or something is following us.

The sound of distant footsteps echoes through the library, confirming my suspicion that someone or something is indeed following me. My heart quickens its pace, it doesn't seem to be a staff member, but I rather not lower my guard. There's no use in hiding; I need to confront whatever is tailing me.
