Confession

The mer in front of her breathed heavily. He was tugging at the sleeves of the long overcoat that he was wearing, as he looked at the ground under his feet. His lips were parted as he panted, he looked like someone who came running but Mo Xifeng did not notice any sweat drop on his forehead.

Her brows furrowed as she looked at the mer in front of her, she wanted to leave because for some reason the mer looked rather suspicious. But her morals stopped her, as the mer was alone and looked a bit scared. Mo Xifeng suppressed the doubts in her heart and questioned, "What is the matter, sir? Are you lost or is someone chasing you? If that is the case you can tell me. I am willing to help you."

Anyway, she was not worried about a small mer who looked weaker than the child living next to her house. She could easily take this mer down if he tried anything suspicious.
